Lovely hard fought victory in the end - though the the first half was great second half got carried away, stopped doing the basics and allowed them back into the game. Thought Tobi played very well and kept their striker pretty quiet so he had to do a lot talking instead. Tough conditions with the rain but glad to see Rovers bounce back after the last result and especially with no subs you could see tired legs near the end. Lovely win and on to the next!

Well done Rovers, a magnificent and very hard earned 3 points to close out the league season. To play that well without 2 of your best players this year in Charlie & Harry says everything about the spirit in this team.
Incredibly tough conditions and pitch to play for 90 hard minutes with zero subs and it wasn’t surprising to see some very tired limbs at the end. Agree with Spencer that Tobi & Michael were both excellent and the forwards all created a constant nuisance, despite not finishing quite as well.
A lot of “leg dangling” and diving in from some of the defenders but they worked hard to keep the victory.
Noticed the Rovers bench DID NOT call their Lino a “cheating c***” when he flagged for a ball that was clearly still in play. Absolutely no need for it and as someone who has also volunteered to run the line many times, that kind of dogs abuse really does wind me up. Ref needs to stamp down on it because the ARs are part of his team, volunteers or not.
I enjoyed the fact that their number 9’s only contribution after his disgusting challenge on Christian was to be offside or miss open goals 😅 Should not have been on the pitch after that one.
And a big well done to all the Rovers soccer mums spending their Mothers Day morning in the rain and mud to watch their boys, just as they have in all the seasons I’ve been watching Laurence’s excellent work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I am sure you were very proud of them all again today.
    💚🖤💚

We didn't call their Lino a 'cheating c***' because we don't have anybody playing/involved in Semi-Pro Saturday football...unlike Camden Lock, whose Manager is Secretary of a Step 3 club.
It's very much a Semi-Pro trick and I see it all the time from the dugouts when I'm filming at that level. They deliberately belittle/abuse the Lino flagging against their team so that the Referee thinks they are not doing their job properly and then consequently over-rules them 'next time'.
The higher up we go in the Barnet Sunday League where Step 3-5 Semi-Pro players and Managers are more prevelant, the more we will come across this.
The Referee decided not to use Club Linesmen for the Second Half because our Lino (Bob) would have been on the same touchline as their Manager & Subs, so it was a good idea in order to avoid a possible confrontation.

Hard fought victory. Well done Rovers, but almost shot yourselves in the foot. One of the parents shouting at Harvey to go for goal in the last minute, when he should be heading for the corner flag. Also, committing too many bodies forward when under the cosh. If not for Josh and some profligate finishing, Edmonton would have lost. Tobi was my man of the match, with a very good performance from Michael at the back. Again, parents putting pressure on Edmonton with loads of needless shouting, and some goading. Special note for the Camden lad who was sin-binned - useful player.

Yes, the Camden lad who was sin-binned (Jonas Borges) is the leading goalscorer in Division Five by a long way at the moment. He scored five against us last time, so we were well pleased to stop him scoring this time, although yes we did ride our luck a bit in that respect.
