Hi Eric! I'm new on your channel and i found your works amazing! I saw a lot fo your videos about make terrains and... MAY I CHALLENGE YOU?? I have never found a video of anyone making the interior of a biostarship, like the tyranids hive ships. I think the difficult part is to create a biological aspect, being the inside of a living being, rather than a biomechanical aspect, as many tend to create in certain drawings that I see on the net, like Giger style. What do you think about it? would you like to test yourself and your skills? (sorry for my english, it is too much time that i don't use it)
You have a great channel. I enjoy your scratch builds for diorama. Great to watching create some impressive out simple everyday stuff. Fantastic at painting. Tip for your decals. Micro set and micro sol are great products. Make a world of difference, but perhaps these are the extra steps you didn’t add in the video. So I apologize if these are things you already knew. Been building scale models for 20 years now. Minis are just always so much fun to paint. Anywho I’m putting my full steps instead of just the ones I thought were missing for decal application: 1. Apply a gloss coat on the area that will receive a decal. Spray or brush on gloss varnish (Vallejo) will work just fine. The gloss coat when dry creates a super slick surface which will allow air to escape from underneath the water slide transfer decal. A flat surface will trap air and create micro air bubbles. The micro air bubbles then create a shiny silvering affect on the translucent decal paper surrounding the decal. Look up decal silvering. You’ll see what I mean. 2. Apply the decal, use micro set if you want. I really don’t find it’s that necessary. I use the partner product micro sol and I get the same result. 3. After the decal has dried apply micro sol and the decal will soften entirely and suck onto or into irregular surfaces like panel lines. 4. Once it is dry, seal the decal with a clear coat. I usually apply a flat to undo the effects of the gloss sheen. Check out mr hobby for a great flat clear coat. Super dry in application. Worth the extra money. Also it really preserves dry pigment powder effects unlike every other flat clear coat I’ve used. Great video!

Okay I get it right from the video's first shot: the best way to start an army is with a land raider. I agree wholeheartedly. But seriously, you did a great job with their faces, the look astounding!
As usual, a well-planned video. As a model train guy with a freelanced railroad, I totally see parallels. Lately I've been picking a color scheme for passenger equipment. Ditto for Star Wars Legion; while I like my Storm Troopers factory fresh, I completely freelanced the Rebels based on popular colors from the 1970s. But beyond color, there's so much more to consider, and you gave me quite a bit to think about! Thanks! 😀
Awesome production quality man. Really makes me want to step my game up. The Emperor's Champion was the model that got me into the hobby so BT have a soft spot in my heart. If you check the John Blanche illustration you will see some interesting things that will make your Black Templar army really stand up. Look at the white armor guy armed with the plasmagun, interesting idea for Helblasters. Next to him is a red templar, an officer? Maybe a lieutenant.

11:08 That's a neat lapsed-time tracking shot.
Wow! The painting on that commander's head is awesome.
man, im gonna just nut up and get into this hobby now, probably gonnna make my own chapter, though. thanks for the inspiration
Awesome video, this comes at the perfect time as I'm just starting a Catachan army.
Thank you Eric!
This awesome episode is so 100% my juice, I always approach my projects like this...but all this advice and tips in one video is golden!
all the best
Always nice to see a warhammer TH-camr delve into third party and 3d printed bits. I'm looking forward to seeing your future projects
Maaan. Ive seen this channel grow and im honestly so proud of you dude. It's an honor to be a long time subscriber! Keep it up!!!
I will start a new army as well. i will recollect my old Black Templar Army for 3rd/4th Edition :)
Just started Black templars . Great video
I would love to see a video with more of your Black Templars army!
Totally relate to that thing about glossing over rules < learn by doing
1:51 dude that is a cool shirt! That battleforce was my first 40k set!
What an excellent video! You covered so much good stuff. I'll definitely return to it.
Gave me the motivation to finish painting my necrons!
Nice!!! Love to hear it
Bro the cinematic quality is unparalleled, subbed
Great video…always like seeing how others approach starting an army.
So many great tips in such a short amount of time and you still keep it detailed and in-depth. You're definitely one of the best content creators in the hobby out there!
Ps. Don't think I didn't see your epic 40000 box... Would love to see some custom terrain (or armies!) in the future :) ds.
Great video, Eric! I'm staring down my first full army project now so the tips are very helpful.
Brilliant imaginative approach, and the results speak for themself!
It makes me so happy to see grey highlights on black armour instead of dark blue, sometimes people do it on Goffs and it just looks silly
Great video thank you Eric . Templars are my favourite to paint ;)
Okay I get it right from the video's first shot: the best way to start an army is with a land raider. I agree wholeheartedly. But seriously, you did a great job with their faces, the look astounding!
Jordan Belfort as the GW salesman got me.
Im glad you liked that bit haha
Same... 8 months on and I scrolled open a ton of comments to do a search for someone else commenting on this haha.
Thanks! 😀
Gotta say, I love the tone and humor of your vids!
i am not really into warhammer or modeling in general, but damn your channel is so addicting, good work man!
Uhhhhh holy crap, when the "local store" pictures are my local stores :O thats amazing!
Awesome production quality man. Really makes me want to step my game up. The Emperor's Champion was the model that got me into the hobby so BT have a soft spot in my heart. I really love my counts-as BT army color scheme but it's really hard to top the classic black, white, and red.
Also, 1:51 I'm eyeing that Black Templar drip 👀👌
This is such an awesome video. I’m surprised anyone actually bought that Black Templar box though. GW has always trended toward high prices but the cost vs contents of that box was eye watering
Great vid, I actually wish it was longer and more in depth!
I have a video about painting another army and strategies coming fairly soon!
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop can't wait!
Your channel is one of the best around. Great content, chill vibes, and lots of positivity. Keep it up man!
Thanks for making this video dude, really enjoyed it
sharp look'n army, can't wait to see the temple that looks sweet
its the first video i watched from you, not even playing 40k but its just so good and rlaxing listening to you, keep it up, very good work mate, earned a sub just by that :)
11:38 you're right that really did bother me! I can totally see how its a perfectly sensible and time effecient approach, but i dont think i could ever do it myself xD
Great video. Love seeing some of those things or black Templar models. Also love that terrain piece you made the black Templar. Can’t wait to see the video for it. I’ll definitely follow along!
If you check the John Blanche illustration you will see some interesting things that will make your Black Templar army really stand up. Look at the white armor guy armed with the plasmagun, interesting idea for Helblasters. Next to him is a red templar, an officer? Maybe a lieutenant.
at 1:10 my friend Mark Boardley's Shadow Falcon's were awesome
I think the deal with Primaris marines is that all the old vehicles are stick shift while the newer impulsors are automatic.
They look great, as do the ruins. Can't wait to see more.
