Sierra Green you'll be fine, you'll make friends that will become your family super quick!
Also, you'll get WAY immune to scary things, every year I see people come in that are terrified of everything and they leave at the end of the season able to handle things.
I'd definitely suggest at least seeing the first insidious so you at least have an idea, and you'll get SO annoyed by the music in your maze :)

Congratulations with your new job! I'm sure that it will give you more exposure & maybe a producer will discover you & you will end up in a movie or TV show on the famous Universal lot. You know that a lot of celebs will attend HHN. I'm sure you will meet the cast & director of Insidious when they come in your maze. It seems like a tradition that cast members walk through their TV shows or movie's mazes. Good luck, have fun & be safe!

Hey I'm a scare actor from Belgium! Don't worry, you'll be scared the first hour of your shift but after that you'll start to be more relaxed and you'll forget everything scary around you

I work at this haunted house park in Terrell, Texas. This will be my 4th year but I can't act because I'm pregnant. However, I can do hair and pictures and makeup and also still be in character to let people into the main house! I'm so excited!!!
I love horror movies! when HHN opens tell us what character u are! and I would enjoy a walkthrough of the maze which you tell us which character u were! love you!
Good luck with the audition! That role sounds like it was made for you. I wish Australia did something like HHN, but even if they did I probably wouldn't go anyway. I'm such a jumpy little wimp, I got scared just watching the trailer lol.

What three other jobs do you work? If you don't mind sharing, I am curious and would love to know about what else you are doing! Congratulations on your auditon as well, it sounds like you're doing amazing in all aspects!
My main two are Disney and Universal plus a couple other random things I do on the side!
How did the whole audition fiasco go...say when I'm older (cause I live in Australia, I need to be 16-18 to get jobs at theme parks) I wanna try work as a dancer for warner bros movie world, and be an actor in there version of HHN...FRIGHT NIGHTS...was it easy, was it complex and are and or did you enjoy working in those conditions...

Are you going to vlog behind the scenes at horror nights? Hope so because I've always wanted to see behind the scenes of the mazes
I can't film anything backstage really, but I will be able to post pictures/videos of myself in costume/makeup once Horror nights is over! :)
I literally can't wait Horror Nights this year im really stocked about this year & I will going to Horror Nights next month the 1st night Sept 15th & I will for sure be going though the Insidious maze.
Btw I will be working scary farm this year next month in September the 21st I can't wait!

How many days a week or hours a week do you work for HHN once it actually starts at the park?
Ranges from 3-5 days a week depending how close to Halloween it is, and my shifts will likely be 12-13 hours because of early park hours, makeup/dressing time and clean up at the end of the night. Pray for me lol
Wow super long day especially considering you have to have such high energy acting and scaring the crap out of people haha I'm sure the time will go fast having all that fun :)
I hate scary movies but because my husband loves them I always end up going to Halloween stuff. I'll definetly see you at Universal! 😨

Just a heads up ... HHN is EXTREMELY tiring, I've worked it for 14 years so please please please get as much rest as possible, drink lots of water, utilize the snack bins that'll be outside your maze and buy several boxes of Emergen-C and start chugging that the week prior to preview night!

Yes! You do need to be 18 to work HHN! You don't need to be 18 to attend though!

Alizay Ramirez there's no nights off for HHN. Unless you're sick or have an obligation you alerted your lead/the hiring manager about HHN is a 28 night haul and they really expect the cast to be there every night.

You auditioned but are scared? That's actually normal. Fun Fact: Jamie Lee Curtis won't watch a scary movie, but she will be in them. The logic is exactly what you said in the video. Because you know what's going to happen. This is a common thing that people do. Example: Dr's and or Nurses don't like the hospital but are still Dr's and Nurses to help. Actors might not actually like watching scary movies, but will act in them for OUR Entertainment.
