I have the 2021 version of this trailer and just camped near Yellowstone np and it got down to 27 degrees and snowed, he had no idea, we stayed warm all night with the space heater fireplace and gas heater to back it up, the heated mattresses were almost to much heat to lay on. We did make some inserts to the zipper windows out of thin carboard and reflectix material which heled a lot in sure, plus on our way home we camped in vegas and it was 108 and no problem staying cool too
I love it. We have a 2021 also. We camp April through November comfortably in ranges from 30 to 95 degrees. Plenty of room. Most of our cooking is done outdoors. Heading out next week. Can’t wait
We bought the 2024 Rockwood Roo 235S in September 2024. The fan and light that attaches to the pole above both beds are very handy. The plastic clips can be easily broken so be careful when snapping them on. The solar will power all the lights, water pump, awning, slide, electronic start and the fan for the furnace, tv, radio, both roof exhaust fans and one 110 outlet which is located to the bottom right of the sofa area. There is a small switch there which will turn on the solar converter so that the outlet and tv is powered. The solar will not power the a/c, fireplace or microwave. I've boondocked with it a couple times since we bought it and I was surprised by how long everything can go with just the solar. I'm still learning about the solar and I do plan on upgrading the battery in the future. One cold night it was able to power the furnace about half the night after I used the tv for two hours. The sofa area also has the option of a set of recliners which is what we opted for and are quite comfortable. This rv works great for us. One trick we learned is if you power on both exhaust fans on full and close the door, the vacuum this causes is enough to suck in the tent fabric which makes it really handy when closing up both ends. We absolutely love this rv and the lighter weight is great for hauling!
If you're looking for a 30 plus foot camper, but only want to tow a trailer around 20 feet or so??? LOOK NO FURTHER!!! The only thing missing from a hybrid is the ability to camp in really cold weather. Chilly weather is even A-okay! Although you might get some condensation on the canvas walks and roof. We had a Roo for 6 seasons and we absolutely loved it. You pull into a site with a tiny camper, drop the beds, open the Super slide......and it's HUGE!!! You really don't save weight, they weigh about the same as a Mini Lite, but they are much shorter closed...and much longer opened!!! I love seeing this stuff get reviewed!!! Popups also!! It shows people what possibilities are out there!
Great video, Hunter! Honestly, one of the best I’ve seen. Liked how you sat in the recliners and stepped into the shower - actual stuff that I’d do that matters. One question: did you mention max weight allowance on the slide-out beds? I saw the cables but no other support mechanism. Again, great video!

That’s awesome!! Congrats!!! Have you owned an RV before?
We had a 2017 23dws, we loved it. The only thing was it was for summer use only. Glad to see they have up graded the roo

That kitchen table is huge 🤩
its a nice one!!
So much space!
they are pretty darn cool!
Have they solved the floor problem and the tendency to leak in the bunk ends? Is I'd Azdel now instead of luan?
We have a 2016 and it leaks like crazy! Beds are hard to make.
whys it leaking?

Great video. Just subscribed 👍🏼
Thanks man! If I can ever do something differently to make them better, here to help!
Honestly you could review a tear drop camper and I’d still watch, I enjoy your reviews. Any recommendations on RV shows to go to this summer?
haha thank you!!! I don't know of any really - i dont look for them though lol I am around these darn things enough!!!!
They make bunk end covers to stay warm
Only thing I wish Rockwood would do is replace oven with the micro, convection, and air fryer combo unit.
I like it but I would change a few things in there
No camp side windows.
Not much privacy, but looks nice nonetheless.
I would not feel safe sleeping in those slide out tents.
Why’s that?
@@TheRVHunter because the walls aren't solid..... Just like I wouldn't want to sleep in a tent.
Nope
lol
