This is a great project! We had done this using photos on ceramic tiles to make coasters, and I love how you are doing this on the wood blocks. The idea of using cute pictures from thrifted books is a great idea. A local used bookstore often has free old books out, so I will be watching for lovely pictures. The wood blocks would make nice building blocks for small children to have cute pictures on them.

Hi Lisa, it’s been years since I did a mod podge project, I was a child. I recently saw the item I made and it looks like I just made it. I burned around the edges of the card to give it the old distressed look. That was 1970 something lol 😝 Nice to see someone still doing this art form. ❤

How did I miss this video!
Another great thing to decopage, if you can get them, is old wallpaper sample books. I happened to get some from a company i was working for that closed. Wallpaper is a great strong thick paper for this.
I'm ao glad you made this video, i had spent a year decopaging pickle jars, and made flower vases out of them. I like the idea of using the white Elmer's glue. I still need to make Pinnocchios box to sit him on, and I will definately try your technique for that.

Do you think the mod podge would hold up as an outdoor plaque? I mean using it as a memorial outside?

Hi! I would replace the Mod podge with an exterior gloss from your hardware store🥰

I believe there is a waterproof one. Your supposed to be able to wash what you make in the sink or dishwasher.

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

Lovely Lisa. Pleases May I ask what thickness of paper are you using, standard A4 or cards , when you use the marker on the outside edge the paper holds firm and is not bending. Sorry if this sounds a daft question. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Jo

Hi Jo! I’m using pages from an old vintage children’s book, so they are more firm than scrapbooking paper, they are a great option 😊
