This actually happened to me once 🙂 and at that time I didn't go to the salon for years and this happened. I never went to the salon only a year after that incident and then I went 2 or 3 times and I never went again to a hair salon. I've learned the hard way not to trust anyone with my hair

To get your hair super smooth you can try using the Chi Silk Infusion oil while your hair is damp. I have curly 3B/3C hair and it's the only thing that makes my hair smooth. I will add that I do use rollers and sit under a drier for about 30-45 minutes before flat ironing tho, so that I don't burn my hair. Not sure what your hair type is but maybe it can help you!

It depends on how high the heat is, and how much heat your hair can take before it starts getting damaged. Several passes through the hair can give it damage.

I literally spend hours watching silk presses on TH-cam in my spare tome 😂 , I don’t know what it is about them but I just find it so satisfying to see those tiny sections of hair gliding through the flat irons , that blow drying technique as well !!! Just the whole thing really lol !! Does it hurt when it’s being blow dried ?

Yes I have the same wide brush but white, & I absolutely love it. My hair is thick & curly, but not that crazy & it does get tangled easily, but with using my wide brush, girrrrll!!
I have that brush it’s a Wetbrush Shower Brush. The vents are to bring a tiny breeze into your hair. It’s the best brush I’ve ever tried. I started with the normal wet brushes but they’re too small for my hair lol that one though is perfect. Get it cheap for like $7-8 at Walmart

Well... I've only silk pressed my hair once. With one pass each section and I got heat damage....sooo...

There's also heat from the blow drying, so it's totally possible

She probably had a wet brush. Most salons use those so, they're safe on wet hair. I have one and it's amazing!
