I love my windlass holder. Its funny Helly as it was on the boat when we bought her and I thought it was just a belt. We have learnt alot in the last 4 years lol 😂😂
Thanks for watching Leon. We have plenty of wood at the moment from dismantling the van. We weren't going to throw it away. But I am sure it won't last long and Josh and I will be finding more wood on our travels 😊
In answer to your question as to how Grove Lock became closed due to only one paddle being operable, you will find that the paddle was probably jammed open rendering the lock unusable. Paddles often get jammed open when people wind them up hard against the stop. If you watch yourself in this video at 10m 48s, 15m 50s and 24m 40s you will see how it happens. Why not take it easy on the lock equipment?
