Oh yes! I’m starting dahlias they have a lengthy stay in side until it’s time. It all comes together in the end for rewards of great blooms! Your content is valuable! 🐞☀️🍀❄️🌸

nice video well done! clearly, a lot of work went into that event - well one for documenting it at the same time!

I’m getting better at documenting as I go and being intentional about my shots, but it definitely adds to the workload!

@@ShiftingRoots yep - and you're videos are improving too well done! Thanks for sharing your experience, we're just in the process of moving from Andalucia to Portugal to start a flower farm and a public garden. Your journey, even if a little hard at times is inspirational for us! Keep up the good work!

You could bring gallon jugs of water with the flower food already in it!
That's just what I would do

I think that's a decent profit considering. That's almost a weeks income! Well it is a weeks income for sime... Especially considering you are still having to purchase supplies like buckets, pruners, etc. Just think what your profit will be once you've got all of those things! 🤗

Awesome job !!! It's wonderful u have other flower farmer friends to help you with the flowers. Thats an awesome goal to be able to have a party of that magnitude and the flowers come totally from your garden !! Congrats !!

Congrats on a successful event and thank you for sharing in all the ups and downs of your business. Your and your arrangements are inspiring and I look forward to seeing more. Will you be doing a video on what seeds you are harvesting from your garden and how? Would love that! Best wishes, Dorothy

Since you're so great with taking pictures have you thought about taking their photos in the garden with their friends/flowers as an added thing they can purchase? Like you could take their pictures, & maybe do tiny bit of editing, & then print them & mail them to them? I bet they'd love to even have one big photo taken with all of them (& have it printed kind of large, like say 8 x 10 or 11 x 13) . If you can spend just a few minutes taking their pictures, & then getting them printed or print at your house, & charge a few extra $ per picture it would probably be worth it! You already have the "props" so to speak... I know if I had an event like this with friends I'd like something like that as a souvenir.

Another thing next year that could definitely make things easier for you...your children will be older and maybe not get into so much stuff! Well maybe? It looks like it was a great event. Well done.

    • @ShiftingRoots

Yes!! I think it will get easier in that regard every year.

I'm jealous your daughter wants held. My son is not the type to want to be held, sit on your lap, nothing like that... he is on the move all day every day. Getting into everything! Lol
Edited to say- but I'm sure it's frustrating to have a child that wants held a lot when you have things to do/places to be...
