    Wonderful island.
But no peace due to militancy.
    Rivals triggerd war mostly.
So now law and order & democracy
European countries must extend support to maintain peace security stability of this beautiful island

Solomon Islands is a great country that needs more jobs more opportunities.
Great to see Australia providing opportunities under seasonal work in Australia and New Zealand.
The establishment of a Royal Solomon Islands Military Forces is a need.
More support in infrastructure development such as roads bridges airport whares hospital and more importantly excellent school including vocational schools.
The older generation has died now new generation with new surge of hope.
New generation of politicians are also a becon of hope.
Roads around the major islands a must.
Thumps up to current and past government for tar sealing roads up to GPPOL 2.
Tar sealed roads around Malaita a must.
Resources exported from Malaita to offset cost of infrastructure spent.
Billions of opportunities available in Solomon Islands.
The Solomon Islands educated force must continue their efforts in rebuilding to new heights God wills.
    Yours sincerely

i dont know about that "tribal tradition" of welcoming people with axes knives and sword swings. more like an indication of what they really would like to do for you

Wow ... this place is like the hood , who brought guns there ? Unbelievable

Wow, what can be done to help? How does one even go about repairing, or perhaps in this case, constructing a government. I'd love to travel their once I'm older. My greatest fear is that their culture will be wiped out, languages going extinct, etc. Those things should be preserved. Imperialism is bleh... but change needs to happen there, and if they don't change it themselves then Australia, or some other nation, is going to come in.

Those natives were victims of their own leaders. It would have been stable and prosperous had it remained a U.K. overseas territory.

without the white man you will have no one to blame your shortcomings on. the camera will focus on your actions and what you did and their will be no one for you to blame but your own behavior.
