2010 i20 petrol city average 10-12kmpl
And Highway around 15-17kmpl
This Hyundai i20's claimed fuel economy is less than 20 kmpl.
After tank full, the weight of fuel gets added in overall car weight which decreases the average.
The correct way to check average is filling petrol till auto-cut at the same petrol pump at both times.
I think it is the diesel variant. I have 2010 i20 petrol, and i usually get around 13-14 kmpl tank full to tank full.

I have i20 magna 2009 petrol.. mileage is 10-11 in city with ac ON..and 14-15 on Highway..the reason of low mileage is its built quality.
One can easily compare 2009 model with elite 2016-17 and so on.. quality is superior in early years but now.. companies are compromising quality over mileage

I don't know how they have drove the car...even diesel i20 has claimed fuel efficiency of around 22kmpl....

Even my aviator scooter does not give mileage of about 25 kmpl. This sounds awesome.

Same i20 sportz I have and I got 22's average on the highway.
Recently I have done a trip (City + Highway) of 310 KM at 60-80-100 Kmph with 18°C.
With 5 members on board..
My i20 sportz 2013 gave me around 15-17 Km/l.
And in city usually it give me 10-12km

Same with me, I get 9/10/11. Depends on which city you are driving. Metro city has bumper to bumper traffic. Sub urban city has lesser traffic and they manage to get higher milage. But this is insane milage.
