Dolphins are jerks. Manta rays are fucking sweet, always heard they were gentle and then getting that big weighing that much was cool and the one asking for help was very heartwarming and glad that scuba diver helped it.

The stonefish belongs to a family of fish that are found basically all over the world, all of whom share basically all the same characteristics, and mostly differ based on size and color.
Being afraid of the ocean is rather common. Personally, I attribute it to the feeling that it's not our domain. Rivers, a lake, they're manageable. The ocean is too big, there are too many unknown things. It's too deep!
12:40 Juvenile organs are different from adult organs and because of that you can tell the difference. Organs such as the organs that reproduce how fast cells grow/decay and things like that can tell you if an animal is a juvenile.
I had no clue stonefish were native to more than just Australia I caught like 15 of them once had no clue what they were And my only thought was “we’ll these fuckers don’t look edible” so I just tossed them all back
Well, technically, they are; their venom is a lot like the toxins in eel blood. Both can kill you real easy, but both types break down under heat, so...no sushi platter, but fried up or grilled? Yeah, they're ok. Same with lionfish; lots of spines seeping venom, but the meat's just fine.
I kinda like swimming in the ocean but the currents are scary. Was on a beach in Norway where you can surf and the currents were fucking me up even though I was close to land. I was in shallow water and yet the current messed me up since I was tied to my surfboard by my ankle. It felt like something was pulling me while pushing me down. I am just glad there was no seagrass to get tangled into or sharp rocks. Or crabs. Or jellyfish. Or anything really. The current was enough. After that I was a lot more careful with the ocean... and ever since Casual Geographic told me about the horrors of the sea. Well, I am even more cautious with it. You can´t tell me sea monsters don´t exist because they do!
On another note please send good wishes to the poor people of Louisiana. They really need it right now they just got hit with a stronger hurricane than Katrina. It’s absolutely devastated the state and on the very day 16 years later hurricane Katrina happened. Or donate money to a good not devision charity. Please
I honestly wouldn't worry about deep sea animals getting you. If they get to you then they'll most likely be dead already because of too much oxygen, and if you go too far down in the sea you'll die before you'll reach any critter along with not being able to see anything lol. Although there's really no reason for humans to be out in the ocean unless you're just traveling, exploring, or doing some researching.
Regarding the stories at the beginning, the first and last time I went into the ocean the current swept me clean off my feet and started pulling me out rather quickly. My gf at the time was the only reason I didn’t end up doing exactly that, ever since then I’ve had crippling Thallasophobia . The ocean is amazing, powerful and beautiful but it’s also a giant, deadly and powerful being in its own right. Respect the ocean, stay tf out of it 😂😭
Great videos, you two. I just finished watching your previous and have a few recommendations if you guys are interested in movies (specifically in movie reviews) so bad that they are good. I would recommend for you start with: 1)By Good bad or bad bad-two movie major and ex director friends who go over which movies are bad, but worth the watch, and which ones are utter trash: -Fateful findings(if the Room was made into a series of multiple movies and on even more drugs than Danny and Tommy were on =)) ) -Glimmer man and On Deadly Ground( two crazy Steven Seagal movies) -Grease 2 (musical sequel gone bad with 5 minute long songs, all about bad metaphors for sex) -An American Hippie in Israel( crazy hippie leader starts a commune in a Lord of the Flies style) -After Last Season(the worst movie ever made. It's so bad, it makes you feel insane after watching it, like how the movie's director is) -Terror Squad( Breakfast Club meets a horrific group who attack and destroy a small town in Indiana; the tone of the movie is all over the place). 2) By Elvis the Alien: -Swamp Ape (horny Bigfoot and objectifying women: The movie) -The Drone (a drone kills people) -Open House(a mother and a son vs a max level stealth, boots wearing Navy Seal, also the dad forgets to bring home the milk :[ )

Sharks are also less lethal than most things tbh. More people die annually from cows, dogs, vending machines fireworks, icicles, and spiders.
