We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
today got mine black, didnt crancked up to full volume because at 70 percent i was blown away by loundness of xtreme indoor using :D its a bit overkill, weights alot, and is like 3 times bigger than charge 2+
+Error 404 i would defenetly get the Xtreme! Even if you connect 2 ue boom 2 they wont sound better than the Xtreme, just louder. I don't think it is a good idea to connect 2 "different" sounding speakers! Go with the JBL ;)

+Joni you have to take off the cover under the speaker with a screwdriver. But before you can take off the whole cover you have to open the zipper and take off the 3 screws inside! Than you unscrew all the screws you can see ;)

Comparing the JBL charge 2+ vs JBL charge 3 it seems that the JBL Charge 3 wins on max volumen, waterproof etc but I still feel that the BASS of the JBL Charge 2 is better and deep. What is your opinion about? I will appretiate all information before buy one of them. Thanks.

So the battery issue is for real. Went to the nearest JBL importer I could find and had a chat with one of the technicians. Apparently the issue has been acknowledged by JBL but the number of returns are not significant enough for a recall. I was however able to swap my Xtreme out for a new one. No questions asked.
+MrFREAK1252 I just got my brand new on Craigslist for $200 and yes its worth it. if you need tunes for 5 or more people and don't mind carrying the weight I think it's at least as big as a gallon milk jug and weighs even more but it sounds really good especially if you put it up against the corner of the room or up against a brick wall or something to reflect the sound,
