Pad Thai is one of many Thai dishes tweaked (less spice and more sugar) to suit western taste. I still think it’s still quite good. You need to have the skewers with sticky rice and papaya salad all together for the real authentic Thai experience. So glad you show cased all these great dishes!
Omg all of that food looks so good! I wish they had a temple and food vendors like that where I live. I miss all that delicious Thai street food. Especially the bbq pork sticks and the kanohm klohk Thai coconut pancakes😋 Those pancakes are my favorite dessert in Thailand and I haven’t been able to find anyone else who sells it outside of Thailand. I almost want to go to California just for that food market.
Welcome to LA! We are so happy to have you! And I can't wait to visit all the cool places in your videos now that you are local. First stop is definitely this Thai market!
Yes 🙌 I have missed your videos so much beautiful TJ and this was amazing I love watching you eat all that delicious food…The skewers and the black sesame Icecream were my favourite ..I can’t wait for the next one ..x❤️🥰💕
Those coconut pancakes are some of my favorite street food from Thailand. I love the green onions ones. If you ever get them fresh cooked you need to wait a while for them to cool down. The center is molten lava temperature.
Man, that papaya salad at the temple can be insanely spicy! I love spicy food and the papaya salad never lets me down! Always a kick in the head...LOL Also, the mango and sticky rice is the best price I've found in L.A. for how much you get. If you are in the mood for Hong Kong style Chinese food, Sam Woo BBQ on Sepulveda is soooo good! The BBQ three delicacy combination over noodles is Heaven on Earth. BBQ pork, Roast duck and soy sauce chicken over noodles. It reminds me of Chinatown food back when I worked in NYC in the 80's. They also make pork zongzi which just melts in your mouth. Bring cash as it's cash only. There is an ATM at the 99 Ranch Supermarket next door. Oh, and welcome to L.A.!
Love your channel. Love your quirky personality!:) I'm trying to catch up on ALL your vlogs.. don't know why I didn't find your channel ALOT SOONER.. but hey.. better late than never!:P Aloha from Maui!:)
Hi TJ so nice to see you back again. Have been missing your videos they are always so good. It is great you found that market and everything looked awesome. Those pancakes and ice cream would be my favorite but would also love the meat on a stick. Hope you do more videos there. Keep smiling and stay safe
It is wonderful to see you back again, as usual, an amazing video. I have missed your videos. It is good to see the cat settling into the new home very quickly, let us hope you do not start sleeping on the top of the freezer.😂 As always I wish you the very best from Birmingham UK.
The kanom krok is my favorite there and the fried bananas. I would try the ice cream and boat noodle next time I go. Always a good food day when you go the the Wat Thai temple. Welcome to LA.
