Some of the comments on this video have been shameful and rude. I'm calling yall out! You don't have something helpful or nice to say don't say anything at all.
We make banana ice cream in our ninja blender with frozen bananas and just a bit of milk. You can add other frozen fruit too. It is so creamy, fluffy, and delicious.
I keep a plastic disposable gallon jug of water (sturdy plastic with a lid that won't accidentally fall off) in the back of my minivan. I refill our water bottles from that when we are thirsty when we are out of the house. We almost always have a random cup/bottle in the van to refill. This has prevented trips to the gas station many times. When the water is gone, I refill it with filtered water from home. Your plan seems very thoughtful and intentional to button up the budget!
❤Thank you! It's crazy how easily we can go down the rabbit hole and waste money! You pointed out some very good things to cut out, Abby❤ Have a great day!
My biggest cost issue is I buy it because it's a good price. Whether I need it or not, I'll buy it because it's on sale. I've pledged to stop doing this!
Me too! I am trying very hard to not buy what we don’t need unless it’s actually free or a moneymaker. I am a couponer and have pulled WAY back so we can go through our stock
I actually realized this to the point of really bad frugality. I say bad because i didn't "live" much. Just stacking money. Pick your poison folks. Spend happily, treat yourself but don't waste money. Balance is key.
I am a nearly every Saturday for DG! I have a great stock of laundry care, toilet paper, etc… another great place to get things cheap/free is Walgreens. If you don’t know how to coupon there, there are some fantastic ladies (mostly) that have channels showing us each week the best deals. Running Kimono, Coupon with Kayla, Jodi Dunn, and others. I like Hey I’m Dee and Craz-e Coupons for DG
Omg, the baby had me laughing throughout the video. Whenever he started playing the piano, went for the camera and then played the noisy toy off camera….its classic…..we can all relate to this! The content was good too! Thank you!
Hey there first off just want to say I love your videos, you are so genuine and real, and I respect that. I was trying to find your video on homemade detergent cause I wanted to leave a comment. I noticed you didn't grate up any bars of soap to add to that powder detergent, that washing soda is only a booster. My sister has been making homemade detergent for years and years and grating up certain soap is essential in the cleaning, just wanted you to know, either way your frickin awesome!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
I think my biggest savings comes from getting clothes on clearance from old navy for my kids I size up and save them for the next season! Also Sam’s has got some great deals on clothes for kids items for $1 is what I shoot for!
HI First time here. I love your lipstick. It looks so good on you. Your baby is so precious and hysterical. I am a wife to hubs of 53 years, mom to 4 grown sons. 3 grand children. I love making food from scratch and beating the system. I love your ideas of saving money. I have a great recipe I will love to share for homemade copycat Powerwash soap. I make it for $.35 a batch and it works great. Here it is. 13 ounces of water Mix in 4 Tblespoons of Blue Dawn soap 2 Tablespoons of rubbing alcohol. essential oil of choice of needed. Shake into your empty powerwash bottle. Another savings I have found is to only add 1/2 of your laundry soap that it says to add. When we bought a new washer recently, the saleswoman told me we add way too much soap to our washers which is very hard on our clothes and the washer. I have started doing that and can't believe how much it saves on soap. Just some ideas for all of us to save our money.
I won’t pay for apps either and I’m about to cancel my Walmart once a month charged that I never use to justify the $13. They bill me every month for home delivery every time I try to order something they were out of it anyway and then on top of it charged me 6.99 for not meeting the $35 quota for free delivery. so on top of the $13 charge a month the last time I ordered something my total came to $12 they charged me 6.99 shipping the tip and then the $13 a month charge so what am I doing here?
Great ideas! Most of these I already do without. I am interested more in saving on laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. Can you share the couponing videos you follow? Thanks for always sharing valuable life ideas. 🤗
I stopped working 4 years ago and the first item I stopped buying was paper towels. We use napkins when we eat and rags to clean with. I also stopped buying fabric softeners. I do not buy airfreshner. I am a couponer so I only get them when they are free. I do not buy 8 different cleaning products find 1 or 2 you like and stick to it. I use half the amount of laundry detergent and clothes comes out the same as a full cap. I was out ziplock bags from my kids lunchbox for the next time. I do not buy anymore Tupperware I reuse the butter dish or good plastic ones from take out. Just a few of my tips.
I DONNT USE FABRIC SOFTENER, NO NEED. NO AIR FRESHENER. MAKES ME SNEEZE, I USE THE WINDOWS FIR FEW MINUTES,,,,, LOL, IF ITS CHILLY OUT AND THERE IS WIND I OPEN WINDOW AND LET THAT CLEAN FRESH COLD AIR CLEAN OTU THE STINK. LOL
You are right about NEVER paying full price for laundry, toiletries, body care, meds, etc… I love couponing! I spend WAY less money than anyone in my personal life and love to show them how!
That kid is super adorable 😍 I turned 41 last year, I'm not married or dating....not sure if I'll ever have my own. You seem so loving and patient. Great momma and great tips! Tfs
Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I love these videos on how to save money and limiting yourself on buying or not buying anymore. ❤ I definitely do not waste my money on any of these things that you have named. I am so proud of myself for not wasting money on these items and trying to budget this year. ❤🥰
This is gonna sound boring but I only go to the clearance racks whenever I’ve been to any store and I buy out of season and when they’re getting rid of stuff and I’ll wear it the next year it’s the best way to shop when you need something only thing I’ll buy new panties and bras and I don’t go to Victoria’s Secret anymore either because they’re cheaply made and they fall apart.
I have never had a professional, manicure or pedicure I always did that stuff myself. I know it’s been a huge craze and it’s so popular on videos .,,and I cut my hair straight across and have my husband straighten up the back with scissors. Usually it was My Daughter or my sister that straightened the back out of my hair but nope waste of money. Went to a famous hairdresser. They scalped me and also gave me the shortest, ugliest bangs I went to work and people just put their head down. It was so ugly that was the last time I got my hair done professionally.
yeah he does keep looking at mom probably trying to figure out who she's talking to and it also looks like the baby's trying to get attention like with playing piano and fake crying, kind of feel bad but I hope it's not a common thing
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love ALL the commotion in your video!! Your son is so active and you stay so calm like nothing is going on, and then when your cats tail popped up in the video it truly made me happy. You are wonderful to watch!💗
I stopped counting the word "like" at 50. PLEASE get that word out of your vocabulary. IT IS DISTRACTING!!! Please go back and listen to this video. You will hear what I mean.
Good for you! We cut all those things years ago (and a lot more) and don't miss them at all. I thrift or buy second hand for almost everything. We haven't had a membership or subscription since 2013. We travel everywhere with a refillable water bottle or travel mug (no buying coffee on the go). We pack lunches & snacks (no eating out). You get the idea! Anyway, all that went to savings so we could buy a house in 2023!! We have been careful to not purchase anything we don't need, especially decor, in the new house.
Y would anyone with common sense and decency say anything disgusting I mean WE are guests here n have no right to say such things we need to remember that.
Life is so expensive and I also am telling myself no to a lot of things this year. No more candles, decor, constant trips for a latte. Instead buy sales to build a stock pile.
Great ideas. I stopped getting mani/pedis a number of years ago due to a fear of infections. I’d heard so many horror stories. Now, it’s not even something I would consider having done.
Also food that’s on your regular rotation. Only buy ground beef when it’s on sale. If you use 3 lbs a week or 5 lbs then buy as many pounds as you can afford until you only buy when it’s on sale. Same with canned goods.
You're wise beyond your years! I was debating about buying a perfume or make up subscription box every month. My thought process was, "I work & I'm worth it." But I don't need either one. Thanks again.
I guess I'm way ahead, i can't imagine spending money on 90%of the things she listed...I thought she was going into things that were more mainstream in household expenses!
I LOVE couponing at dollar general on Saturdays! I am able to stock up on toilet paper, personal care products for 80% off! I also coupon at Walgreens once a week to save money and budget $20 every week total at all stores. Most of the time I'm able to spend $10 or less for the week :)
In California where I live we don’t get good coupon deals, they cut that out. When I was younger, my mom used to get double coupons get stuff for free with coupons that was when I was in high school I’m 41 now. Our sale out here is getting Kirkland brand laundry pods for $15 at Costco.
Check with your local grocery store, they likely have digital coupons. I live in NorCal and have two local chains that do this and have loss leader items each week. Target also has digital coupons with their app and you save an additional 5% with a red card
Great ideas, Abby, and I loved seeing that stinker Van smiling through his snot! I wonder, though, what is your husband cutting out to save money? Have a great week!
Not just cleaning products, anything with a shelf life that you use a lot - maybe it is canned tomatoes, or rice, or whatever. Especially think about the more expensive items - like coffee, toothpaste, breakfast cereal. Everything goes on special. (In Australia the longest I would have to wait for a grocery item to be reduced price would be 3 weeks). BUT be careful not to become a hoarder & try to put the items away at the back, because if you pur them away at the front, the back ones may reach expiry date & defeat the purpose, if you end up discarding them.
No pedicures & car washes..yikes 😬!!!! I only have 2 subscriptions. Not interested in gadgets. I always use coupons & shop dollar tree for super cheap. Never use apps. I don’t really buy clothes. Haven’t bought decor in over 8 years. I have a britta water system.
Cloth nappies, no more tissues. Hankies are a thing you know. Paper towels. Don't buy anything brand new until you have checked the second hand shops first. Enjoyed your video. Thanks.
Since jan 1st i keep a diary. I write down everything i buy. I also stopped going to take outs which includes coffee snacks lunch etc. I also stopped buying at the cafeteria at work. I bag my lunch. I used to spend $100 on take outs a week. In 52 weeks thats $5200. I rather have that money in my bank account.
I had 2 years of Extremely Frugal Time I made a sleeve for my debit card that said. WILL YOU DIE WITHOUT THIS... I pretty much live like this 15 years later. I can't believe what you are "giving up" Seriously?? Maybe have a much more serious look at what you are "giving up:!!
I agree. Wexstopped buying many of these things years ago. We do buy drinking water, when we are not able to source it from a well or spring locally. I am allergic to fluoride and ingested chlorine... we have not found a filter that clears both out without my getting ill, so when we can't source local springs, we pay. By the way, we areclucky and live in an area with many local, capped, springs that are free.
A reverse osmosis filter that you can hook to your kitchen faucet is an inexpensive way to accomplish this. We bought ours at Home Depot. In the long run, it saves us money because we use our own water for cooking and drinking now-we were buying bottled water. I do have a berkey too but i use it rarely now. I keep it in case something would happen to our water well and we would need to use pond/creek water. We live in the boonies. lol!
WATER. oh my god actually. i’m 18 and living with my parents ofc and the way my parents are always buying water instead of just getting a water filter and having water cups like…. it honestly pisses me off, i’d literally be way more hydrated if we didn’t have a constant limited supply ALL THE TIME
Great video. I loved watching Van especially when he was going toward the camera! I want to stop the excessive buying too. We have to spend so much for necessities so I really want to cut out the overspending. We can still be happy and content, it’s just making better choices!
heres a couple of things makeup big waste of money same as skin care products i use soap and water and face wash to scrub my face n make your own with oatmeal and avacado
I’ve reduced down my wardrobe and started buying better quality (used) clothes from poshmark and thred up. It’s better for the planet and the clothes are built to last (if they’ve survived one person, they’ll survive me, too). It also makes me *want* to wear them, compared to new clothes that I spend too much on and don’t want to risk ruining.
Girl- you are talking directly to me!! I’m on board with most of these that I partake in! I feel seen/heard with cups. The Stanley addiction is real! LOL. New sub!
I KNEW you would be an awesome couponer. I am a couponer. I commented a while ago on ur video saying you would be so good at couponing. Toothpaste is another thing u can always get for either free or super cheap.
Some of the comments on this video have been shameful and rude. I'm calling yall out! You don't have something helpful or nice to say don't say anything at all.
Thank you ❤️
@Bklyn718. I did
Great ideas! Abbey I love your lipstick. It's a beautiful color on you and compliments your skin and hair color so much.
We make banana ice cream in our ninja blender with frozen bananas and just a bit of milk. You can add other frozen fruit too. It is so creamy, fluffy, and delicious.

This is a great idea, but I’d like to do it with glass instead.
Dang. When I already don't spend money on any of this stuff 😭😅
Me too 😅

It will be interesting to see your ideas. I just have drastically changed anything I buy for food. Some days I just due breakfast and supper.
Aww the baby lol. I agree with everything on your list! I learned how to do my own mani and pedi because the prices are insane! 😩
Yes girl!!! Can’t wait to see your Kroger video!Kroger and Dollar General has really helped transform my budget. It’s so helpful!

I have the ninja creami. It is so loud. You wake up the neighbors!! You are not missing out!!
Oh goodness how funny😂 thanks for the heads up.
New here. Love your calmness with that precious squishy baby. Great tips!
All those odds & ends add up. I've been on a mission to save more money, so I can travel more. I've elimated lots of stuff. Good luck to you!

I honestly never though about the useless spending I was doing until you pointed out a TON of them. Laaaaaaawd! I need to do better. ❤

Dollar general does 5$ off a 25!!$ order on sat . And if someone goes with you and they have a coupon you save 10$
Im using my library's more i dont buy as many books
This is gonna sound boring but I only go to the clearance racks whenever I’ve been to any store and I buy out of season and when they’re getting rid of stuff and I’ll wear it the next year it’s the best way to shop when you need something only thing I’ll buy new panties and bras and I don’t go to Victoria’s Secret anymore either because they’re cheaply made and they fall apart.
Can I ask - where do you go for bras and panties? I’m seeing the same thing at department stores.
I have never had a professional, manicure or pedicure I always did that stuff myself. Same with hair/nails.
No more car washes, that’s an idea I’m going to adopt!
I live in the country on a dirt road. So I let Mother Nature wash my car. Otherwise it is truly a waste of time and money.
Kind of weird for a little child when his mother talks to a scrren I guess. Better do this when you are alone....
yeah he does keep looking at mom probably trying to figure out who she's talking to and it also looks like the baby's trying to get attention like with playing piano and fake crying, kind of feel bad but I hope it's not a common thing
I'm sorry, but I think those fragrance crystals for laundry are a waste of time and money! It's easy to buy detergent with fragrance!!!!
Yes!
“Lifestyle creep”. Great term for it.
Love your channel! Thank you all the great tips!
You are so welcome!
I love how you let your child and don’t apologize for it ❤❤
The cost of living rose. I am going to try to adjust to inflation. Regardless of my low income I intend to budget anyway.
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love ALL the commotion in your video!! Your son is so active and you stay so calm like nothing is going on, and then when your cats tail popped up in the video it truly made me happy. You are wonderful to watch!💗
I saw that too. She is such a great mom and so relaxed.
You got me on the last one. I am implement all that you said except the water and I do buy bottled water. I’ll have to work on that one.
I stopped counting the word "like" at 50. PLEASE get that word out of your vocabulary. IT IS DISTRACTING!!! Please go back and listen to this video. You will hear what I mean.
Good for you!
We cut all those things years ago (and a lot more) and don't miss them at all.

I'm also sensitive to noise but I've seen more videos where dogs bark and interrupt but don't remember seeing people complaining about that...
Paper plates!
Yes!!! They are so expensive
As a kid, it was always so much fun helping my mom wash her car in the driveway
I remember doing that tooooo
Never thought I could get toilet paper on sale, def going to be on the lookout for that
Clothes you can do end season and buy next winter like now lots clearance at Walmart do yard sales in summer and spring get for nothing
Y would anyone with common sense and decency say anything disgusting I mean WE are guests here n have no right to say such things we need to remember that.
I go to Salvation army
Life is so expensive and I also am telling myself no to a lot of things this year. No more candles, decor, constant trips for a latte. Instead buy sales to build a stock pile.
I have such a stock pile that I have to stop! Time to use it up!
That lipstick color makes your look immediately dressy! So pretty on you. Definitely wear that on your next date night or special occasion.
Is there a website where i can watch all day long and getting paid. Anyway, great content
I never buy paper plates or water anymore. Dishes are reusable and I only have water for emergencies. We live in Florida.
Good job!
10 thing she will not buy It's a good job on a good video
Thank you
Great ideas. I stopped getting mani/pedis a number of years ago due to a fear of infections. I’d heard so many horror stories. Now, it’s not even something I would consider having done.
Car wash is terrible for your car. Hand wash. Microfiber mitt 2 bucket method
Kids movies bible project has lots of kids movie and greg laurie from harvest church realease his kids be born again kids movie
Great tips. Thanks for sharing. 😁
I let my kids help me wash the car 2 weeks ago and they had so much fun!!! Plus it was a good use of excess energy.
Lip colour looks great on You!
Good tips. I need to cut back on manicures and pedicures for sure. They have gotten super pricey.
Walgreens is pretty good at doing daily codes for free pictures throughout the year also 👍🏼
Great ideas and suggestions! I love the lip color. You are lovely.

I don’t know if I can give up my new cups girl 😂❤
Great ideas, Abby, and I loved seeing that stinker Van smiling through his snot! I wonder, though, what is your husband cutting out to save money? Have a great week!
He literally never spends money 🤣
I love your videos but not doing #2 or #3 already 😂
love that lipstick on you 😊
How About not purchasing Eggs and Veggie bc you have/grow your own 🤗
I don’t do that :)
Great video thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
All very viable options!! Some I don’t do but some I do and will not after watching your video. And I know so many who need to watch this!!
Thank you!
Yeah 😊

Yeah buying kids clothes, especially baby clothes is the WORST - soo much packaging
I had 2 years of Extremely Frugal Time
I made a sleeve for my debit card that said.
WILL YOU DIE WITHOUT THIS...

heres a couple of things makeup big waste of money same as skin care products i use soap and water and face wash to scrub my face n
make your own with oatmeal and avacado
Hop it works out for u❤️
I’ve reduced down my wardrobe and started buying better quality (used) clothes from poshmark and thred up. It’s better for the planet and the clothes are built to last (if they’ve survived one person, they’ll survive me, too). It also makes me *want* to wear them, compared to new clothes that I spend too much on and don’t want to risk ruining.
Girl- you are talking directly to me!! I’m on board with most of these that I partake in! I feel seen/heard with cups. The Stanley addiction is real! LOL. New sub!
Lifestyle creep. Good term! I think I need to do a re-set now in March to be a little more careful.
Everyone says water from home is free, not true. It is cheaper though.
