Want a really cheap solo miner, pick up a used antminer s9, pull out a single hash board and control board. Drop it on a bench and stick a fan on it. Then load up braiinsos and set max wattage to 120w. After it tunes itself you will have a 2th solo miner using only 75 watts, with a total build cost of around 40 bucks.
purchasing used miner is great, but we must consider product cost and electricity consumption.Once electricity cost high, considering ROI, this kind of solo small miners are more competitive.
Does this device do mining and does it give us a daily amount and transfer it to my wallet or does it just search for the block so that we get the reward after a long period? I want a device that does mining today so that I can get a daily or weekly amount at least. Does this device mine like this?
Fantastic video! I have an unrelated question: I have the OKX Wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (notice leisure umbrella over east select damage pink devote drip federal august). How do I go about transferring them to Binance?
Because “pool” is just a name in this case. Everyone on public pool is mining for themselves. Hence why he’s solo mining on public pool. Where in an actual pay per share mining pool you share your resources with everyone else to get small payments.
They are solo miners, but what if there is more than 1 solo miner connected to the mining pool? Would that increase the chances of them hitting a block or making a block and receiving a payout? Like I bought 2 of them. If I set them up with the same mining pool number. Wouldn't that increase production in that mining pool? And if so, then wouldn't that increase the mining efforts of all devices connected to that specific mining pool? So if the company that makes these devices and sells them is putting the same mining pool number in the booklets in every device sold. Then wouldn't that mean that they are not solo miners? Each and every device connected to a mining pool should be increasing the effectiveness of the overall group. Correct?
Just ordered one of these it will be my first miner and looking forward to setting it up . Just wanted to ask, can these solo mine BCH or preferably LTC, and would the hash rate stay the same?
@ they are open source so you can order the pcb and they have a bom to build them on your own for way cheaper like half as much I’m building a army of them to put on my own node using solar i plan on building some stand alone with small solar panels so as long as the sun is out they are mining and when the sun goes down they mine off a battery until the sun comes back out again
First: I love the videos! Three questions for you on this one: 1 - Where did you get the 720/1000 from in your monthly power cost? 2 - Why do you not include monthly power cost in the reward/year/cost column? Maybe a formula like =Reward/Years/(Device cost+(Monthly Power*12*Average Reward Time)) 3 - When BTC halves every 4 years, does that impact the reward amount? Thank you!
@@MadlifeTrading hi! 720 is the hours in a day. That final column uses the monthly cost not the initial device costs since the initial cost is low after years and years of running it. Yep reward will drop in half when btc half’s but btc could also be $200k then

Looking at your cost line in your spreadsheet. Where are you paying $300.00 to $400.00 for a single Avalon Nano 3 device (you had the nano 3 listed as costing $400 in another video)? I am not a Nano 3 fanboy, but that price is not correct. I purchased my Nano 3 from the manufacturer with the upgraded power supply for $159.00. Yes, there was about $30.00 in shipping/fees but that ends up being closer to $200.00 a unit. If you paid $300 to $400 for one, you definitely got ripped off.

When you say $40 cost do you mean for the software or for the miner?
That miner is great! Really quiet, I have buy from them once, nice team and very professional
Thanks for another great video and the calculation of odds. It could be good to have on of these in the home mining setup, just for the added fun!
Can’t win if you don’t atleast try! I’ve got a few more solo miner videos coming up curious to see the best one!
Nice little device I hadn’t heard of it before!
Would be awesome if these miners had a PoE++ option to keep them connected to LAN and power all on the same port.
Thank you for your sincere review.. keep it up man 👍

Is this the same thing? (Miner Lv06 BTC Lottery Machine)
This is the LV07 but same brand.
The LV06 looks different and has a hashrate of 500GH/s. The LV07 has a 1TH/s hashrate.
Bro this miner is just madness 🤣🤣
not really a miner..just a digital lottery ticket..and the drawing is every 10 min..you can mine other coins non solo but low return..
to mine Bitcoin Silver and get 50 BTCs per block!
I don't recommend these, you will NOT get a payout.
Mathematically impossible really, does happen, but not often. Better off running a small proper asic and solo mine I think
Still near impossible.
