The band really knocks this one out of the park, just flat out some of the best big band jazz I have ever heard. Eva does a knock out solo and the solo work is just great. Joan is in a new orbit on this number.

Con esta interpretación, la Sant Andreu Jazz Band deja en claro qué significa ser una big band. La fuerza con la que todos los instrumentos alimentan la dinámica de esta canción hacen que quieras saltar del asiento y ponerte a bailar.
PD: El arreglo de metales es magia pura. La forma en como alternan y se suman saxos, trombones y trompetas es delirante. Una brindis por el arreglista!

Great arrangement of this old jazz tune. I have heard the pros play this tune. In my opinion this is the best arrangement that I have heard since the 1940s. Wycliffe is terrific on trombone. Eva does a great vocal.

Pues permiteme que dude de tu supuesta autoridad si te gusta ésto, " de lo mejor que hay ahora", para reir o para llorar? mucho me temo que no has escuchado verdaderamente jazz, chico, prefiero oir a Elllngton, Basie, Herman, Goodman, Miller y un largo etc antes que esta bazofia de alumnos sin personalidad que solamente copian y copian. Si como dices tú, ésto es de lo mejor que hay ahora, como será lo peor!, afortunadamente la realidad no es ésta, hay extraordinários músicos a los que no se les da publicidad ni oportunidades y si que están haciendo jazz de verdad, así que no se donde tendrás el criterio, si tu compras estos discos es que no te gusta el jazz, o no eres capaz de analizar lo que oyes.
