Why is Measurement Based Care a Thing?

Measurement is not something we often attribute to counseling or behavioral health but is essential for primary care since we care for large portions of the population. One reason not mentioned in the segment for measurement-based care is that it can help you identify if you are undertreating portions of your population and they are not getting the help they need. For example, maybe you think you are doing a good job caring for Hispanic patients in your population, but the data can show you that in fact their outcomes are poorer than others in your clinic. #primarycare #integratedcare #measurementbasedcare
