Wow ! Thank you @TheFashionArchive for the discovery ! I really really enjoyed that video, I liked the way you fully explained the meaning behind each garment, that gives way more sense to the collection, I'm glad you were able to show us a bit of culture from Ukraine and Georgia ! I'll definitely eager to see some more amazing videos like this , I've learnt a lot thank you !

Excellent explanations and context given in this video. I'm very glad to have found this gem of a video buried under so many other search results. Love it, thank you !

I think the only good thing we get from shared experience of soviet union and Russian oppression is understanding Demna’s work 😅 I found this video through the deep dive about Demna and have to say your explanations are very thorough and correct compared to many others. Thanks and good luck from Georgia ❤️

I’m one year late, but this got me to subscribe and watch your other videos. Also two statements. One, tattoos are also pretty significant to prison culture here in America. Two, I think another big part of Vetements that people don’t get is Demna’s blatant critique of capitalism and satire of Europe (specifically eastern like you pointed out here). Anyways, keep up the good work!!!

I wouldn’t say he pokes fun at Eastern Europe, I think the references are well-incorporated and don’t bear satiric connotations, more like embracing his native culture. When it comes to capitalism and politics, oh yes, he do be wildin’

love ur inside knowledge of soviet and post-soviet references here, I come from Poland so I knew couple of things but didn't realize I see them on daily occasions in Warsaw as u explaind for example with this "f*ck u" signs, really interesting point of view

This is total bullshit. Like vetements. All the looks are just copies of other great designers ( you forgot to mention the obvious reference to gaultier’s tattoos top, and a few more designers), and tho you sure know all the political ideas behind the prints, you obviously need to know more history of fashion. Vetements could just do a Tshirt slogans brand, because styling copies is not design.

Hey, Adrian! I am sorry that you've had a bad day. I suggest taking a long bath and ordering your favourite takeaway, always helps me to deal with the day-to-day stress.
Unfortunately, I have also had quite a long a day and as much as I would like to get into a discussion with you, I will be brief. I have said that my main goal is to explain the cultural and political references behind the clothing, the ideas which exist on a sensory level and are not available on a click. I am sorry that this video was not what you expected, but I have never claimed to be a fashion historian either. Also, fashion community is already toxic enough for you to be expressing your thoughts in such a confrontational manner. Why not just explain the references that we have missed?
Hope you have a lovely evening!
