    Very good movie.

Indeed, the classic feel just makes it very easy to watch and like a comfort blanket.

Nicely atmospheric film, with some fine black and white photography. Unique in that it bridged the gap between the more modern era of UFO-based sf and the old Gothic film traditions of the 30's and 40's. The "man" is both an alien and a gnome-like figure from folk tales. Interesting little film done all the better from the sincere effort of all involved to deliver more than such a tiny budget would normally have provided.
(In fact, this film isn't quite as obscure as the commentary insists it is, except to general audiences who likely haven't paid much attention or have much interest in earlier SF film history.)

Good point on the bridging between gothic and the sci-fi trends. On the obscurity thing, indeed, if there exists a list of the best sci-fi films of the era The Man from Planet X will almost certainly be included. But it doesn't hurt to give it some extra love and a bit of a push on this medium, which typically skewers much younger than the film's audience.

My only suggestion I can make is to balance the audio more. the music in this one is far louder than your audio in this. But anyhow, I have been enjoying this series immensely, I have been watching with my friend with these

Indeed, I'm more conscious of audio balancing now than I was when making some of these older videos. Hopefully the more recent ones are less troublesome - people normally have trouble understanding me as it is haha.
And thank you for your comments and support - it is much appreciated and I'm glad you and your friend are getting some enjoyment from my silly trash!

Glad you picked this one. I quite enjoy the foggy, isolated setting...and feel the townsfolk steal the show. It's short, with a good amount of alien time.

Indeed, all good points, but the setting especially. Textbook example of building atmosphere from very little resources and funds.

Mmm I'm not sure on this one

Yeah, you have to be a fan of this certain type of 50s sci-fi to enjoy this one I think. It's less flashy than a lot of the bigger titles from the era.
