- Probably the best a foldable phone has to offer at this point in time.

glad your review appeared! Fantastic!
Great review with the software and hardware! I personally also don't see the need to multitask as a foldable atm, but might just try this form factor out when my current phone fails
Great review, I prefer to stick around with my fold 4 now. Maybe next iteration from Oppo would be considerably a good one.
Great review. You're right, inconsistent behavior of this phone is what holding me back from getting this phone. That's is what I have experience with Oneplus 11. I have greater experience with my old Oneplus 8 Pro with older true OxygenOS and my Galaxy Tab S8+. Maybe I get this if there's really good deal later, but not right now.
Finally a tech review from you back !!! 🎉🎉🎉
🤣🤣🤣
I really like your wallpaper.
I was wondering if you could tell me who drew it?
hi there! link to the artist's twitter here twitter.com/maegjuw
Did you try to use it in Desktop Mode?
Would you happen to know the comparison to the oppo find n2 fold when gaming ? Is it better or much the same ? Thanks
i've not used the N2 so can't say for sure, but from what I can recall from N2's reviews back when it came out, it is probably slightly worse than the N3. They both have the same thermal limitations of a folding phone after all and SD8+G1 does seem to be a bit more power hungry compared to the SD8G2.
Nice video as usual Alex...want to buy this $2399 phone but abit hard to swallow hence I went the z flip 5 route...cannot fold flip lo😂
🤣the price is indeed a bit... high... haha
Is it some features same with Samsung folds?
its fucking absurd that reviews of phones are not more like this. I do not need a fking 10 minute long video talking about the bullshit camera system that stays the same every year. Talking about the screen, the features, the OS, how it feels like to use the phone like this!! This is great
Can we freely adjust the size of each app when having the 3 app opened mode? Or are they locked into specific preset sizes?
sadly it's only between full screen aspect ratio, or a regular phone aspect ratio. So they're kinda locked between those 2 options. Also, this depends on whether the app itself supports scaling. some apps doesn't allow changing the size. there is a way to force scaling in developer mode, and some apps will scale fine but some wouldn't. 😅
@@axhng my friend and I noticed this when we tried a demo of this phone. It's a shame the Chinese foldable phones have superior hardware, but the overall software experience of Samsung seems to still be the best
@@james3980 i think it could be an intentional decision from OPPO so that when using the 4 finger gesture to zoom out, things will look a bit more uniform? Or maybe it's just easier for them to code if they make the apps fixed to these 2 sizes for their multitasking?😅but i think it would be nice if it can be freely resized too! I think they already have a pretty interesting and useful multitasking UI and hopefully they'll keep improving on it.
😮hello sir, please how is calling sound and mic Does it like Iphone quality and galaxy s23 ? please can you tell us how much from 10 you give call quality suond and mic ,speakers ?
hi, unfortunately i probably can't give a good gauge on this since i very rarely make voice calls. I only remember maybe taking 1 call while testing the phone, and it sounded fine to me and the caller was able to hear me just fine. but as to how it stacks up against other phones, i really can't say for sure. hopefully you'll be able to get an answer somewhere else. perhaps you could try asking on Oppo's subreddit or perhaps forums. cheers.
How much is opp N3 fold
How to work like minute 2.00 which is can running with 2 aplicatiom in landscape mode?
when you have 2 apps side by side, you can tap the gray bar in the middle between the 2 apps. there will be an option to change it to "Top-bottom split".
@@axhng okeyy thanks for the information 🙏🏻
does it still have keyboard typing issues on outside screen?
i haven't notice anything weird with the keyboard on the outer screen while using it, but then again I mostly used the phone with screen unfolded, so can't really comment too much on that. 😅
I want this but my phone is still good. Will there be a find n4?
the Find N3 seems well received, so i think there's a good chance for a Find N4.
A lot of users go on about the multi-tasking (split screen) but I have tried to be productive on both Android and an eight-inch display and found both incompatible with an efficient workflow. I have come to the conclusion that multitasking is a niche foldable feature and not really worth flexing. I bought my Galaxy Fold 4 to simply have a larger display with larger font for reading. That is useful for someone like me with eye issues. I still think for most, that too much goes into multitasking and befitting the principle of Occam's Razor, the de facto user case is a small outer display but a large inner when you want a more relaxed viewing experience; basically, it is what it is.
I think It really depends on personal needs in the end. I know quite a few ppl who don't use a tablet or computer at all, and only use 1 phone for pretty much everything. In such cases, I think they're likely to get the most use out of foldables. The multitasking will probably be down to something that's nice to have occasionally, but not something that ppl will use all the time. Most times, it's like you said, it's just a larger screen for consuming content on the go. Like while waiting at the clinic for a checkup, it's great to be able to unfold the screen, play some games on the larger screen. But for someone like myself who's sitting in front of a larger monitor all day already, I have zero need for the multitasking stuff on this phone 99% of the time, and just that larger screen alone wouldn't make it worth paying the premium. 🤣 But still, it's nice to have another form factor that ppl can choose from instead of just the regular slab.
Yeah I doubt it was intended for professional workflow in the first place lol idk about "flexing" but it's simply casually convenient and always worth mentioning, it's objectively an integral part of foldable's purpose.
What controller
?
I'm using the 8bitdo pro 2 controller in this case, though it's not complete support since there are some bugs I've noticed still like being unable to manually select ult in combat. Not an issue for auto battle though. Not sure about Xbox controller but I've heard it works too. My old PS4 controller isn't supported at all though.
Do you think it's worth to swap my fold 5 for an oppo find n3?? :)
unless there's specifically something you really want and are willing to pay extra for... like smaller crease, camera performance, design, multitasking, etc, probably not since you'll likely have to top up some money for the Find N3? 😅they are sort of from the same generation after all with the same processor. if there isn't anything you really dislike about the Z Fold 5, maybe just waiting to see what samsung will do next year with the z fold 6 would be more financially prudent haha
Is the phone same as OnePlus Fold?
the hardware is identical as far as i know. software wise probably minor differences only. like maybe the icons/widgets design, the built-in apps might not be the same entirely. OxygenOS is based on ColorOS these days too anyway, and the software on the Find N3 looks very very similar to the one on my OnePlus 10R.
