Best of 145!! Love it
Great players. Such a wonderful time capsule.
Joe Davis made 6 century breaks in this 1946 World Championship final in London. 104, 133, 136, 107, 122 and 116. He then retired from Championship play. It was a pity really, as his absence devalued the Championship for the next 10 or so years. Him and Fred could have had many more great matches but probably the truth is Joe wanted to retire unbeaten and Fred, by 12 years his junior, was getting a bit good!
Wasn't Joe blind in one eye ,,even more a better player than u imagined 😅
How many centuries did they make? Anyone?
6 in total. Joe made all of them
best o 145; the modern player would throw his toys out of the pram
My money's on the Beeb being a little put out with it.
Who won ???
Michael Trumph Of corse Joe Davis
They’re still playing I think.
Best of 145, have a thought if Ebdon and Selby would play that 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ebdon would still be playin
@@cooperfeldThat's a bit unfair. It wouldn't take them 80 odd years to play 145 frames. That's like only 2 frames a year.
