I'm not a plumber but have a boat repair company that has been around for a year now... can't believe this video only has 1.4k views! You are just going over everything we've learned in the last year! invaluable information! Man I need to check out that sales tax stuff. :)

Jered, my husband and I have a plumbing business less than an hour from Pensacola. Looks like we may be in competition with you. 😀

***Question**** How do you prioritize marketing expenses? If you only had $5k or $10k per month marketing budget to start out, how would you spend it?********

I would max out Google Local Service Ads and spend the rest on brand awareness via FB/Insta to a very small audience mixed with direct mail to the same audience.

If you mark up your material the end customer will need to pay sales tax on the new price for material.

In most states if you pay tax on the material when you buy it you don't have to do that. Ask your CPA.

@@jeredwilliamsthe only BS about material in CA is if the tax rate where installed is higher than where purchased, you owe the state the difference.
