The raising of the kid is the biggest thing I think for a foreigner. The fact that you girls said you would not change your discipline style & will do it the way you were shown only indicates a red flag to me. Saying telling & threatening with a stick is a good thing is beyond me. A kid doesn’t have to be “spoilt” by actually giving them choices & doing it differently. Maybe it would be good for you to learn & open up to other styles than be stubborn with your own?
Also if a kid is sleeping in the bed with me, then hell no. No guy wants to share the most intimate place with another kid. Maybe the first year is understandable but you are creating separation from your husband & it’s a huge red flag.

For me it's not the raising a child that's the problem. It's the fact that the women I love has had a baby with another man and she experienced that for the first time with another man. When I personally feel that is a huge thing for me, it's a certain bond between perents the first born child. And I don't want for her to have had that moment with another man. If I had children it would be completely different because the moment has gone. It's nothing personal or vindictive against single mums, my sister was a single mum now she's happily married to a man with two kids. It's just a normal feeling childless men have and it's not personal.. God bless

I’m talking to a single mom now. As I said in a reply to another comment, it would be nice if the dad was paying child support, but I don’t see that happening.
So if you are going to date a single mom, it is a package deal. To me, I had expected to have kids, but it didn’t work out that way, so to me I get another chance at something I missed.
So the girl I’m talking to does want more kids. To me all the kids have to be treated the same, if you love the mom you got to love the kid also. Fortunately for me, the girl I’m talking to her son is still relatively young (6), and dad has never been in the picture, so hopefully no conflicts. But if it was an older child and they blame you for the parents separation, one still has to try and not write off the kid

That these brothers take the children whenever they want to go that's not how it works the children have a right to have a relationship with their father... I grew up in a religious family, and I have my own thoughts and beliefs in the Bible.
If you believe, then yes, when you marry a single mother and you consummate the marriage, then you become one.
And her children, become yours, and your children become hers also.
( Read the book of leviticus)
So there is a responsibility to the children to raise them as your own.
I raised my stepson as my own from the time he was two months old to an adult.
He has grown up to be a responsible man and a great father himself.
His mother was a alcoholic and had drug addictions.
When we divorced, I was given custody of stepson and my biological daughter.
Their mother eventually died from alcoholic psoriasis of the liver.
The reason I am telling this is raising a child wasn't your biological child can be a very rewarding experience.
My son didn't meet his biological father until he was 18, and even his biological father said to him (my son) that even though he was the biological father that the man who raised him (me) is his dad.
But if the single mother wants the man to love and treat her children as his own, then she will have to realize that he will have to have equal say in how the children are raised.
Not just her way but equal for both.
    God bless you all.
(I have say bringing a child out of the Philippines can be very difficult.
A good friend of mine got married in the Philippines and they had a little boy together, this is back in the late 1980s.
My friend had come back to the USA because of work, and it took over two and half years of legal processes to bring his wife and biological son back to the USA.
It all has to do with the laws in the Philippines and getting permission from the Philippine government.
I'm going to imagine that getting to bring your Filipino wife and her children out of the country would be very, very difficult until the children became adults.)
So if the foreigner wants to have a relationship with a single Filipino mother, then he should plan on staying in the Philippines.
I don't know if the laws for children leaving the country have changed, but I doubt it.

      - 1 Thessalonians 4:3 "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you ABSTAIN from sexual immorality."
      - Hebrews 13:41 "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be UNDEFILED, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."
      - Deuteronomy 23:2 “No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord." (This includes a child born out of wedlock).
      - Jude 1:7 "Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire."

Native American Catholic Husband to my Wives ... but never a "Partner." The term "Partner" in my world is either for a Gay Gentleman's Significant Other, or a Modern Masculine Feminist's soft hands Beta Simp. Wealthy High Value Western Alpha Men don't raise another Man's Off-spring, unless the Mother's Husband had past away and was a Honored Member of our Tribe. When I visit Cebu next winter I would only "Date For Fun" a Filipina Single Mother, but I would absolutely never ever Marry. After all, the Catholic Church is not a Lunch Buffet where People get to pick and choose what they think is Acceptable or Not.
