I think the crisping happens with begonias that prefer higher humidity and aren't getting it. Some of them really want terrarium conditions which is such a bummer 😕 your begonia collection is wonderful!

Thanks! Yes I was told that too but tbh Ive found altering the watering has made the biggest difference. They do all live in my plant room with about 130 other plants so its pretty humid in there generally too
