The first couple laps of that 450 main were insane. Wish I would have seen that triple into the whoops in person. I hope Chase and Ken heal up quick. Anyone who finished that race is a badass

That was unbelievable for Roczen I don't think I've seen anything like that in 20 years watching and riding the sport. Losing control in the whoops, normal stuff but the bike blowing up and sending you over that's like winning the worst lottery ticket ever
The bike didn't blow up - the shock did, sending oil all over the exhaust (thus the smoke) and causing Kenny to not have any suspension through whoops - this was NOT rider error...
13:20 - Chase has them both at a loss for words… he was trying to double that! 😂 He sent it! Respect ✊🏽
Yeah, that jump prolly came up a little too quick while he was trying to get what his mechanic was message; his mechanic blocked Chase's view, and his focus was set back.

It’s so Tough to be a long time Ken Roczen fan. Up’s and down’s every single year or should I say every single race. Hopefully he’s not hurt too bad. If I’m him I’d take off the rest of the Supercross season and get ready for Motorcross and the Playoffs. (If he isn’t out for the rest of the year or most of the year) I’m hoping it’s just a sprain or just sore.
Its time to give up the Suzuki as well. Thats twice tonight bike issues cost way too much for his season.

At the end of the day, EVERY single rinder out there will smoke EVERY singal one of us that has commented on this post. It's great to see the support for the riders. Both 450/250 field is packed out
KR is very aggressive today in this tactical race track. Hope he is ok. I have no clue why the shock easily got loose. Mechanics much have an answer.😊

Roczens shock blew out on a really bad section on the track, he really couldn't have done much to avoid that crash.

Yeah but they’re all much older except maybe Chase who is still four years older. I wish it was a bunch of 20 year olds against Jett at his level but I just don’t think the sport attracts that many young people anymore due to cost and danger

I was disappointed in the coverage. The network had all kinds of coverage of danger princess but nothing of Shimoda who was in second. Shimoda had a great ride and no TV time.
Danger brat gets all the media coverage because he's a social media star. Real racers get ignored for him.
Look at Tom Vialle. He's in the points lead and people still only talk about Deegan. He's cancer for the sport.
Deegens needes a holeshot.... but the shock blow out is crazy.

Tough get off for Kickstart Kenny, hate to see it. Was loving his ride too. These indoor tracks are getting too wild. Bigger whoops, bigger jumps, and rougher than some outdoors tracks. Hate seeing these guys go down so hard every weekend. Great race Jett and Hampshire!
?? The tracks have been relatively tame compared to most years! This is the first race where we have seen a lot of drivers going down as well… last week was such a boring track, snooze fest
How good is Jett Lawrence? Right now he is outsmarting the craftiest riders on the track (Cooper Webb being the best at racecraft, IMHO), he is outrunning the fastest riders on the track, even when they are in crazy fast mode (Eli Tomac being the fastest, IMHO), and he is as consistent as any of the guys our there on the track - week end and week out.. The kid is special - as much as i hate to see a young foreigner come in and smoke the established stars of our sport, ultimately it will make EVERY rider pick up their pace and get on the beat.

@@seanhaberman4619 he passed him because of the traffic, if there is no traffic tomac would've won with a 3 to 4 sec. Gap like he had all race now yes once Jett got out front he was faster but when he was in second he had difficulty closing the gap to tomac.

I’m a deegan fan and this week just wasn’t his weekend. He rode sloppy, is what it is. Rj rode so we’ll and was nice to see him with the win.
I don't think he's figured out how to handle pressure, he got himself amped up to prove himself for the East/West and then flopped. Same thing he did in his first Futures race, but he's young, he can figure it out.
Deegan has it in him but needs to focus, when he is focused he is the fastest, just needs to learn, these technical tracks take a lot of experience to master.

Look at the rule book. Yellow means slow down NO passing.
How many people don't know the rules? Jesus christ. Yellow just means that there is someone or something down in the track. It doesn't mean slow down or no passing. Look it up before you all comment and make yourselves look stupid. This is moto not other racing series. Some rules are different.

This sport is no joke but so many people in the comments make it look like one. Not surprised it continues to become a problem and banned around the country based off how I see "fans" in the comments react. Not enough people respect these bikes, how they should be used and the other people around them

I little shady tactics on Lawrence using a yellow to pass. Sportsmanship, you see a yellow and the rider in front slow down for it so you should slow down and yield with caution. (not making a pass until clear of the caution) oh wait winning means more than anything right?
I can feel the pain in my knee's for Ken, looks like he hyperextended the left knee on landing. I messed up my knees for life on both BMX and Motocross. Bad thing is, they never fully heal, they can heal "enough" but never the same.

Kenny’s bike continues to let him down. Glad it happened there and not in one of the rhythms. Hope Ken can get equipment that can not screw him and gets well soon.
It's not the bike always lol. He's done that on everything he's rode. And is better on this bike than any.
He’s been better on the suzuki then any other bike and when has the suzuki ever gave up on him outside of this one race which is more on blame of his special suspension tech that he requested to have since last year
It really makes me think what these races would be looking like for Roczen if he weren't with Suzuki

surprised nothing came of Deegan riding the wrong way on the track. at the 3:19 time mark, Deegan has an issue with rear end spinning, he goes over the tough block into the center section then over the other tough block onto the opposite side into the landing area of the finish line. he jumps back over into the correct side but this has been historically a penalty at least.
Those crashes were violent. I hope everyone is fine.

Kenny Roczen is one of if not the fastest guy on a dirtbike ever !! The suspension manufacturers and bike manufacturers should consider altering amd using the data acquisition software coming off the bikes suspension and when a shock like blows like in this example the software could potentially reduce the bikes throttle and apply some breaking so injuries like this may be possibly prevented right. The technology is there to easily do Thia and we know they are already monitoring and logging the bikes bc various systems. Anyway I'm into robotics and autopilot control systems and watching Kenny go over the bars and get hurt when a shock breaks like this makes me want to invent such a system or at least share the concept. If anyone is interested let me know. It would not be hard to do and I think it's the future of the all modern electronic control systems. J
yeah, you can keep your $$$suspension mapped computerized botbike. Motocross/Supercross is and should remain, man and machine. Hardcore and Raced by Real men.

God had to nerf roczen after he went 24-28 in motos in 2016 and then swept the first three rounds of supercross in 2017

Praying for Marchbanks and Roczen. Those were some career ending crashes. The announcers weren't talking about the Marchbanks crash or giving updates, meaning it was BAD. Announcers typically dont give updates when theres no good news. And then Roczen, it may not look bad, but his legs are going to be in bad shape. He might not race this season or forever
he could of just been knocked out, when a rider cant respond to the medical team they are super careful about moving him since he may have a spinal cord injury they do not know about and laying him on a back board could make it much worse
