My first memory of loving writing comes from elementary school, where I was given a small (but very exciting!) blank book to fill as an assignment. In the years since, I've written all kinds of stories throughout middle school, high school, and college, and in 2022, I decided to finally become a published author!
I like to keep my inspiration fresh by writing about flawed and courageous characters in fantasy, romance, and thrillers. Some of my favorite activities are campfires, movie nights, and looking at dreamy coastal homes online.

Major concern for me towards the preview section.
As you've said - the spacing problem is something we can't fix, and also, it seems that Draft2Digital doesn't even respect page breaks.
It's really bad... And stopping me from publishing through this platform...

I’ve been having a problem with converting my e-book to and epub or RTF file. I made it on canva but I can’t upload it because I can’t properly convert the file, any suggestions? 😅
Hi Keylay - are you trying to say you wrote your book in Canva? If so, you may need to copy/paste or find another way to bring it into a proper word processing program so you can export it successfully.
Can anyone give me an idea of how much time it takes for an ebook to get published? It's been 5 days, but the book hasn't been published on any platform?
That definitely doesn't seem right, as your book should start appearing on platforms within 24 hours. D2D support can look into your issue.

Yes, you will need a separate account for each :)
My book has shown “Publishing” on D2D for over a year now. I don't know why that is so. I've been writing to the D2D team, yet no response!
Do you know what could be the reason why the book hasn't “published” yet after uploading it for over a year and still counting???
I'm sorry that's happened! My books are always stuck on publishing mode for Bibliotheca, but that's not one of my main sales platforms, so I'm not too concerned. I hope support gets back to you.
The page is still publishing my book from yesterday and i don't know where is the problem that's normal or not
Hi Lucas, yes it can take a few days for a book to be published to a particular platform. If it goes beyond two weeks, I would contact support.

What abt the pen name? I added the pen name on the book but on the title page, it shows the pen name with my original name. What to do then? I'm going crazy seeing it :)))
I'm not sure! Maybe check your account settings for any auto-fill data or contact support :)
@@erikaharken Have u noticed the more marketplaces or territories u publish the book there is a high chance of being paid less because of the middlemen involved and they need to make a share of the royalties so what the author gets ultimately will be very less. I was just thinking if certain territories are avoided will it help that we get paid more? Can u pls share some light on your earnings? Did u receive a good amount of it? I have noticed the payment isn't paid all in a lumpsome like Amazon but in bits and pieces and then for print one has to wait for 4 months to collect their payment. So it's such a long boring and irritating wait period.
Why not on KOBO Plus, any feedback?
Their royalties fluctuate, so I've decided not to distribute with them for now.

Can you tell me what is the ISBN number and why would I add this?
An ISBN is a serial number used to easily find and categorize books, and can only be bought legitimately from Bowker in the US. They are expensive and if you don't want to use one, you can skip that field if possible or use a free one from the distributor you are uploading on.

Mine were available within 24 hours. If you are experiencing a delay, please contact their support :)
They will never publish your book because I've uploaded books for almost a year but they didn't published it.
Please contact D2D support if your books are not appearing on distributor channels.

Most authors prefer a pen name.
