Great video. FWIW, I KNOW Bear and he not only knows his stuff in this (and other) areas, he actually CARES. About YOU. Having to use this gear. He could take shortcuts on quality but refuses to. This is the gear HE uses - and so do we.
I was Combat Lifesaver qualified twice, in the Active Duty US Army Infantry, and I am a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Bear FAK is second to none, and far exceeds the CLS kit that I carried. I have already recommended it to a couple of local first responders, as well as several local civilians, and I will continue to do so. Bear definitely knows his stuff. Blessings!
@prepared medic, *which* one is the best you've seen? The Bear IFAK, or the other one? I suspect you mean the Bear IFAK, but you've left it completely ambiguous, and you could've meant either one for all that anyone knows.
The only thing I added to my Bear-min was a small flashlight.. And I've actually used mine in a less than ideal situation and it met its advertised capabilities.
I was an EMR on a rural F.D. for Two Years. I'm presently in charge of Disaster Response at my church. I recommend Bear's Kit above ANYTHING else out there! When it comes to helping people and saving lives, I don't cut corner's. What I buy for my FAMILY, I buy for my Church!
Been saving up for your bearfak! Been watching your videos for several years now and have learned a lot from you and really appreciate your dedication to teaching what you know dude 👍🏻
Just shared this video with my mother. She's a 40 year veteran as Registered Nurse. She asked me what I wanted for my birthday, & I said I wanted a BearrFAK. She asked why I would choose a brand she's never heard of, over a well known (in her field) brand like you competitors. If this doesn't give her confidence in her investment in my BEST BIRTHAY PRESENT EVER, I don't know what would... Keep up the good works.
Hey brother! Another excellent vid as always. I actually was looking at the MyMedic, they have a good thing going as in advertising the product, but further observations, I found that I’m paying more than 60%on just the pouch, which I can find that one anywhere, matter of fact I just put my own together with the same (5.11) rip away and sourced all med equipment from North American rescue. I was wanting to pick up one of your Ifaks, but funds do not allow at this time. But man…your Med kit is probably the BEST one I’ve seen. I’ve always packed my guys aid bags and Ifaks in Afghanistan with my own med gear, since the army liked their expired medical stuff and wish I wish we had your IFAK standard issue
Shalom and thanks for the review. I was expecting alot less in covering the MARCH-E but not surprised about the inclusion of the rat. Glad to have a few of the Bear FAK and the Mini FAK as a firstline use (hopefully never).
Great job comparing the two! I think this would be a great way to educate people! Especially when it comes to your competition! Keep fighting the good fight brother!!!🤜🤛🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As a former LEO-EMT I think the Bear Fak is top of the line. I build my own personal kits, but would buy a Bear in a heart beat if I didn't have all the supplies. Shalom T-man
The only thing is I would need for the molle pouch to be side by side two wide centered instead of three wide to utilize the bear fak for my needs because space is limited on my setup. It's comprehensive kit with everything you need without filler and you can always add to it.
You convinced me. I had to help out being who overdosed on heroin in the past and other people who were having medical problems in the past. I worked with felonies as a program supervisor. The thing I hated the most about the job was the first aid kits. When there was serious bleeding (can't go into it) I had to keep pressure and use very cheap crap. If it was not for emt getting there quickly that guy would have bleed out. I will be buying at least 3 of your packs. One for myself, grandma, and mother.
I really wish I had enough money to buy a few of your ifax to give to a young police officer cris acorn who is a police officer in Toronto Ontario Canada I've known him since he was a ankle biter chewing on my JVC boombox back in the 80's He's a dedicated father and husband with a wicked sense of humor who also served in our military I'm very proud to know him And I don't think he has anything as comprehensive and well put together as what you have So I'm going to save up my coffee money and hopefully get one from you guys soon Thank you for your videos and knowledge God bless you and your's Just saying
Thats awesome of u for doing that. Much respect to you. The world would be a better place if it was filled more with people who had the same compassion as you.
You know the athletic phone holders you get at Walmart, the super thin neoprene ones that Velcro around your arm for running? I have a rats tourniquet in one of those with a pair of gloves. It's the only setup I've found that I can strap around my leg above my boots everyday. Everything else is to bulky and heavy for me to actually wear every single day. I do have cat's, tk4's and even swat t's in my vehicle and house.
I had a chance to look at one of your Bearfak and they are nicely built. I hope to order a couple soon also seen a roll pouch ifak from forward observation group you may have already seen them it’s unique and I may get one of those as well but yours is very functional and well built shalom keep up the good work
Hey guys. I’m new to the “prepping” community and am on a very tight budget. What kind of medical supplies should I focus on first. A 1 or 2 at a time kinda thing. I have a lot of boo-boo stuff already so I’m looking more towards trauma care.
I love my bear minimum,,, however the extra stuff in the other one would really be nice to have stuff On a budget the bear minimum is perfect I've had it in my bookbag that comes with me everywhere for the last half year and no packages inside have opened up/ become spoiled.... the stiching is the best 👌 believe it I have still not have proper training due to funds but I have this kit with me everyday and know how to use it without any stress other than the decompression needle... I however need that training but it would be another 5 months before I could have money to throw that way...
Any idea on when the boo boo kits will be available again? I’m not medic trained on the items in the bear FAK but want to support the channel via that boo boo kit.
Excellent review Bear. Their kit was better than I was expecting to be honest. Be a descent booboo kit but I’m proud to have the BearFax on my PC and a another one molled onto my work bag (I’m a freight train conductor & ppl don’t wait for trains). Also I need to retake your medical training course, that was some bad ass training! I 100% recommended their training corse to anyone reading this. 100% worth the money and for me an 8.5 hour one way drive.
Not an endorsement of the RATS Tourniquet but I have heard that it is better for small children and pets due to the smaller clinch diameter. Any experiences would be helpful. I don't need ignorant bashing or I would go to Twitter. Please just real world experiences. I am former Army and Retired LEO so I have some first responder knowledge. I’ve got some of the MyMedic stuff and it’s ok but the quality of the bags sucks and most of the meds are cheap generics, even though they advertise name brand meds on their website. And yeah, first thing I did was add a CAT tourniquet.
I’m definitely sold on your BeakFAK, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on Olight. I’m a little surprised that’s what you have on the Glock in the thumbnail....
Thanks bear for the side by side definitely getting the bear ifak .they have go bag are you ever thinking of something along those lines a bear pack ifak go 🎒
