    Brilliant ... no time wasted, straight to the point, clear as day. I've never really looked closely at the mechanism (mine actually work very well and my wipers are streak free even though this is the second winter on same blades).

    Great! Thank you... My washer direction on the left hand side, does not "reach" the bottom part of the windscreen... I will try this out during the weekend😊

    We were only yesterday driving along, in our new 3, cleaning the windscreen, thinking what is going on with that squirt.

    The annoying part of washing the windscreen is the water that pours over the drivers window. Don’t leave your window open if you are going to wash the windscreen.

    Excellent and easy to understand video - but when will the long version that was announced at 1:30 come out?

  • @bagpussjames

    I hardly get any fluid on the drivers side. Thought it was just poor design but maybe a blockage. Will have to check.

    Great video. The washer hose drags across my M3 glass making a loud squeak going up and down. Any fix for that?

    • @TeslaGurus
      @TeslaGurus  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the hose is dragging across the screen it can't be properly routed. We've seen a few Model 3s with the washer hoses loose or even disconnected where each hose connects to the 'T' piece under the hood. Follow each hose back and check to see if they're all secured properly would be my advice and thanks for watching!

    Drivers side on mine puts out a lot less than the passenger, this video makes me think the two adjustable nozzles are blocked in some way. Used to use a bike pump to clear on older cars, wonder if you have ideas?

    • @TeslaGurus
      @TeslaGurus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      One thing to check if you haven't already - the tubes feeding water to the wipers can easily come off the Y piece feeding them, so remove the plastic cover below the wipers and follow the tube to where it goes behind the plastic trim under the winsdscreen and make sure it is connected. If it is and there is a spray from the misting nozzle, then yes I think your jets are blocked and you could unblock them with a very fine needle. I also tend to use pure, dionised water in my washer bottle as I live in a very hard water area and I think over time deposits and scale can build up which could block the nozzles.

      @@TeslaGurus will paperclip works instead if needle

    • @TeslaGurus
      @TeslaGurus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@gobear2002 The wire most paper clips are made from is too thick. A needle, safety pin or a really tiny jeweller's screwdriver would be OK. Or you can buy a tool designed for the job online for a few £s.

      @@TeslaGurus thank you for this! Mine is doing the exact same - drivers side. I will check out the tubing and then try a needle to see if they are blocked

    It would be nice if you were to do a video on wiper blade replacement. It's hard to source a wiper that fits Tesla 3. There's lots of videos on this from USA but not many from UK. Apparently the wipers are not compatible for UK model. How strange!!

    • @TeslaGurus
      @TeslaGurus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fill up the fluid reservoir!

  • @Xanthopteryx
    @Xanthopteryx 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Seems pretty inefficient. The side sprayers just... spray away, not hitting where it is needed.
    On our Volvo we have several nozzles on each arm (eight, on each arm, divided into two nozzles units!) so it wastes like almost ZERO fluid (some drops will spill out in the outer end as i have them adjusted now since we have a lot of crap on the roads here, better to have too much on the window than to little).
