guys I want to tell you we were very happy to have you all up here racing at one of our local tracks here at Beckley and do not be disappointed in how you ran up here because this is a tough track to learn at first but normally after the first race you know what to do after that from then on... I can also tell you Joseph ripped the lip around that place and there's been only one other driver I seen before that can pull that off and not tear the car up and that was Josh Rice.... A Medium Soft Right Front with a Harder right rear for any race that's 40 laps or more also works good.... it's pretty lenient on the tire rule most of the time at Beckley also but this Friday coming up is the shaffer's oil Southern late Model Series opening night at Beckley and the very next night maybe an hour and 5 minutes south back down the Interstate at Wythe RaceWay and it's a wide higher banked half-mile speedway that any of your all's cars would work well on and it's easy on tires too with a lot of grip down there and big mile per hour... also the third night Sunday is at bulls Gap if I'm thinking correctly so that would be a good triple header for you guys to come back up and run but bring the merch trailer if you do because you'll sell out more than likely with Beckley and Wytheville Raceway.... also up this way is a lot of dirt tracks within two and a half hours in any direction away from Beckley, that pays very well pretty much every week,, such as Atomic, Portsmouth, Bulls Gap, Tyler County, WVMS and many others...
Good to see y’all out there trying to make an effort I have been following y’all since y’all started and it’s been nice to see how far y’all have come but just seems here lately that y’all are struggling. I’m praying for y’all that you can find a way to push through and be up front. I know y’all can do it and I know y’all have the equipment. I would seriously consider a car chief at this point. Y'all have a good driver, a new car and a new engine. Yes you should learn something from every race, but that can be a expensive education. FYI, I'm not a hater, just a long time fan that wants to see this team do good.

@@KornHuskerJason Travelling to West Virginia from Florida to run at the back I guess I don't see. HTF has a good driver, strong motor and fast car when they have the setup. If running at the back, doing a start & park and not bending the car is a good road trip then it was good. Knowing how he can drive Joseph should be losing sleep over results like that. Congratulations that the car didn't get bent is a pretty low bar.

If I was at new track I think in hotlaps I would try the top to the very bottom. To see how in feels. But running the same groove isn't telling you much.

Sounded like the gear was a size or 2 too big. Was laboring very hard coming off the transition. Jay's motors are setup to be run higher in the RPMs. It never got to that point until the transition into the next corner. 🤙
Been seeing that all year they give it up in the turn and then have to drive to deep in to try to keep up!!!! But as a old man I had no IDEA why cuz we didnt have these cars back in the 60s and 70s

Well you don’t start with the left rear it It does very little of the work due to centrifugal force the right rear is heavily loaded and that is why it is the tire that the sanctioning body specifies what compounds are allowed

This was the first dirt track I ever been to iny life when I was 6 driving through visiting family as a detour on way to move to Canada has not changed to much since 1998. And then in 2015 I got to race there when I went back to visit family what a good way to visit family you have not seen in years by bringing a racecar with you and go racing one day while you there and they get to see you race cause was only chance they ever got to see me race and won the street stock feature. Nice thing about plastic and alinum panels easier to bend and fix on the fly at the track
You guys are doing the best you can keep going to different tracks like that other guy said the more you're in the car the better you're going to be you have a great team you have a great driver you guys are definitely going to get better

Traveling to race other tracks is one the hardest things to do especially if you have no notes on a new track. I know you have great equipment and a good driver. Next time you go to these track you should know what not to do and what to do. Good job guys!!!
Not sure I would've waisted a new nose piece on a B-main, there's plenty of time for that after the race...lol Should've been checking the toe, caster, and camber to make sure the suspension geometry was still right...imolol Those guys like the #12 need to pick a lane and run that racing line...wtf?

I love watching hunt the front you guys inspire a bunch of racers but this year has been a big learning curve for y’all or it seems that way I mean y’all’s crate racing is solid but the super hasn’t quite been on point don’t know if there’s need for more motor or better setups possibly both who am I say but I’m sure y’all will get it figured out I’m not knocking anyone just speaking my opinion but keep grinding and making these videos and good luck on the reason of the 22 season.
I can tell you running up and down the road gets old unless you have a operation to support that kind of racing …I have been there just on a regional series.
Running against the WV boys are always a tough crowd to race I have done it before back in 1988 It was a rough race did not make the Main two of my friends did what a night

This how you get better, pick a series run with them, go to different tracks and learn how to get around them, all these tracks need a tire rule, to make it cheaper to run a series.
You assume they don't most series use Hoosier 1350's with a Hoosier 1600 option on the RR with a 5 tire limit a night, Now when you get up toward Eldora and the mid west they us a 4 Hoosier UMP LM 30's with a UMP LM 40 option on the RR with a 5 tire limit per night. You might want to research that a little further.
@@JJ-1-1 In the last two years, all series of any kind of dirt car has had to go a limited tire use each night, because of tire shortage. If fact, I remember sprint cars having a tire shortage in the eastern US market about 4 years ago for a few months, causing right rears to cost around $200 each. I came in the 1990's when a national runner would carry 1/2 trailer of tires at all times so he could race in the stars one night, hav-a-tampa series a couple of nights later, then if he went to another track with another tire rule. I remember when Mark Richard's of Rocket had drivers on tire deals, depending on who they were was their price that year and they got a certain amount of tires every couple of weeks.

You boys need to head east to PA and run at Port Royal Speedway. It's a 5/8 mile banked oval and has earned the name, Greatest Show On Dirt, for a reason. If you boys didn't win it all you'd definitely share a podium.

This how you get better, pick a series run with them, go to different tracks and learn how to get around them, all these tracks need a tire rule, to make it cheaper to run a series.

You assume they don't most series use Hoosier 1350's with a Hoosier 1600 option on the RR with a 5 tire limit a night, Now when you get up toward Eldora and the mid west they us a 4 Hoosier UMP LM 30's with a UMP LM 40 option on the RR with a 5 tire limit per night. You might want to research that a little further.
@@JJ-1-1 In the last two years, all series of any kind of dirt car has had to go a limited tire use each night, because of tire shortage. If fact, I remember sprint cars having a tire shortage in the eastern US market about 4 years ago for a few months, causing right rears to cost around $200 each. I came in the 1990's when a national runner would carry 1/2 trailer of tires at all times so he could race in the stars one night, hav-a-tampa series a couple of nights later, then if he went to another track with another tire rule. I remember when Mark Richard's of Rocket had drivers on tire deals, depending on who they were was their price that year and they got a certain amount of tires every couple of weeks.

You boys need to head east to PA and run at Port Royal Speedway. It's a 5/8 mile banked oval and has earned the name, Greatest Show On Dirt, for a reason. If you boys didn't win it all you'd definitely share a podium.
