10:48 looks like you shoved the traffic car into the AI, causing that takedown. I think the cops in this game are enjoyable and not that bad compare to some NFS games like 2015. Criterion’s Most Wanted cops are pretty aggressive and destructive, literally mowing down street lights, fences, city property, and traffic to stop you.
This game is still my favorite NFS game ever. I watched others play the game before I could play it myself, and it was awesome. I was young, so the idea of having every car at the start was amazing to me, and it still is now. I just play this game for the driving, its fun, and the sense of speed in this game is one of the best I've ever seen. 150mph feels fast, 100mph feels fast, and even 80mph is fast in tight tunnels or narrow streets. Also, no game comes close to the car sounds in this game and the graphics are amazing for a 2012 game. If this game wasn't titled "Most Wanted" it may have been one of the best and most loved games in the series.
This is one of my favorite entries in the series!! I remember to keep myself entertained I would just purposely have the police chase me all around the map on the highway. It was so much fun, especially when they dropped the F&F DLC for it. I’ve been dying to play it again since PS3

For real it's weird seeing those comments about people being nostalgic for pretty new NFS games while I remember Porsche Unleashed and Undergrounds... Problem with Most Wanted 2012 was more in its name than game itself
Man I loved that game, it was so nice, no it didn’t have that tuning scene that we loved from older games but it was a cool game for supercar things, the car switch mechanic was cool and I loved doing big police pursuits
I just got this game on steam for 4 bucks and with modern hardware it still looks phenomenal, especially for a 360 title. Definitely worth a play if you haven't already.

If only this game had been given more time. The base game was really good, if only EA gave them more time to complete the story and progression then it could have been one of the best. Hopefully the next criterion game is not like that and EA have learnt from this

I’ll be honest this game actually is still one of my favourite games, I’ve played this game every single day, I had everything in this game definitely in my top 5 NFS I played
I really really like this game. Not for the mission, but like Forza Horizon, just to drive through the streets. The car sounds were incredibly good. I remember driving for hours with the SRT Viper and the Lamborghini Gallardo.
This is the game that made me want to punch whoever made crash cams in the face. Can’t tell you how many times I’d have a 10 second cam at 50mph just to respawn and instantly get another bc my car tapped another car.
I’m actually one of those people that actually loved this game. When I was young I played this game all day everyday and after I beat the game I maxed out the Agera R (btw this game made me love Koenigsegg’s). Still to this day the Agera R is still my favorite car. Agera R with Short Cut gears pro and powershot nos pro that car can literally hit 270 I think or 280 if you’re lucky
I agree the concept and lack of storyline was terrible. But the freeroam is so fun to explore! My all-time favourite free roam car gameplay. The interactive map was epic while avoiding the trap of being fully open world. The art style is very memorable as well
Every criterion game nails the engine sounds & physics in racing games...look at burnout paradise...all the car brands were fictional but they sounded so good!
NGL I grew up with this game. I loved it and am very nostalgic of it. I also love every other NFS. However I can understand the annoyance of it using the Most Wanted name but I still love it for what it is
You can't jump to the last race (maybe there's a dlc to unlock it all). You earn sp through events and need an increasing amount for each most wanted race. Personally, I love exploring and finding cars. Some are hidden really well through crazy jumps. Then you have to unlock boosts, tires, ram chassis, reinforced body, and a few other things to improve the car. It's got a great loop. If they remaster it I want roaming racers with dope liveries to track down and challenge to a head to head to unlock their livery. It would fit the freeform nature of the game and add some more customization. I'd also like undercover racer and a mod for reducing heat faster. Some of the cop chases are insanely hard! I love it but sometimes I don't want to fight for my life lol. But yes this has the best handling and car sounds in a NFS to date. The graphics are still as good as well and the mp is the best yet. Game was straight crack!
It is basically an unfinished game as EA pressed on Criterion to release the game earlier. It does have a good graphics tho, car sounds and music. It is only missing some good handling model and more car related content like some visuals. Also, the progression with the cars could have been better if the release date was later than spring 2012.
Unpopular Opinion: MW 2012 is the best modern need for speed game people only hated it because of the name and lack of customization it came with the best gameplay, physics, multiplayer, car roster, sounds, and map it also had memorable DLC and had well made intros + great tracks to race on, with multiple chaotic game modes it was very fun to play, if they named it Need For Speed Rivals it wouldn’t get nearly as much hate
@@drift_works I believe HP 2011 did it better, the handling is basically lifted from that, but it was designed around hot pursuits more flowy map, so you avoided the constant crashes. The police in the game were pretty persistant, and the health felt like it added some depth to your driving. The police mode was great and 2011 actually was similar to the games it shared its name with. I loved MW2012, but it was a mish mash of HP2011 and burnout, and while that did give it some great qualities (like multiplayer) it also did have its issues
I really will never care what anyone says, i will always have the most nostalgia for this game, and i miss it so much. The soundtrack is perfect, i have it in my library and i will forever. I think the cops while yes, easy to escape, give you enough challenge to have 4 hour long heat level 5 pursuits of destroying car after car. And going to the next point, repairing your car, i don’t think has been done better in a game. You can blast through a gas station at 200mph, get a new paint job, and get back to wrecking. In terms of getting cars on the side of the road, i don’t think Crit had customization, or proper “car progression” in mind at all, or else picking a color would be a static option. I think their main purpose in this game was this: Drive fast through a world of long arcing roads, escaping cops, running roadblocks, listening to a jamming soundtrack, jumping from car to car picking what’ll be best for a situation, and never needing to stop for any reason. Just endless driving. And i think they nailed it perfectly. I have been awaiting a remaster or something for this game, or even for it to be available as a 360 game for the Series X (since i don’t have a PC) forever, and i will continue to hold out half hope that someone flips that switch and i can go back to the place that i get all my license plates from in all need for speed games after this one.

The art style is very memorable as well
>gets a save with everything unlock and millions of speed points
>why is everything unlock?! Who would like this?!
My man you loaded the save
Every criterion game nails the engine sounds & physics in racing games...look at burnout paradise...all the car brands were fictional but they sounded so good!
This game was basically burnout paradise need for speed style
omg it would actually be hysterical if you did a let's play of this game, every time you play it, you just go mental lmfao
Criterion did mw dirty im being legit
I like the crash cam, it's consequences for foolish driving then u actually have to drive well to have fun
i have confidence in spades that theo will win the head to head because arcade racers are his bread and butter
It has great DLC '77 Trans Am , '67 GT500 , '70 Charger not sure what others but I mostly drove '12 Camaro ZL1 & '11 BOSS 302 Airport DLC
NOOOO I LOVE CRITERION MY FIRST EVER NFS GAME WAS HOT PURSUIT
NGL I grew up with this game. I loved it and am very nostalgic of it. I also love every other NFS. However I can understand the annoyance of it using the Most Wanted name but I still love it for what it is
I think the reason my dad bought the Porsche 911 at 3:43 was because of the game
I like how one of the best NFS games was my first, and how one of the best Forza Motorsport games was also my first (FM4). I'm a lucky mane
Lucky you. My first Forza Motorsport was apparently the worst one (FM5) However I did play titles past FM5 and FM4
I remember when i used to play this game all day back then
You can't jump to the last race (maybe there's a dlc to unlock it all).
I loved this game so much. It's really not bad. Ppl just be hating
Facts and i loved it too
It's just no where as good as the real most wanted and that's the problem
This game is still playable and it never gets old.
His reaction to the skyline r34 being DLC 🤣
It is basically an unfinished game as EA pressed on Criterion to release the game earlier. It does have a good graphics tho, car sounds and music. It is only missing some good handling model and more car related content like some visuals. Also, the progression with the cars could have been better if the release date was later than spring 2012.
12:12 thats a Nissan Versa.
This video gives me og blackpantha vibes, and it’s hilarious!!😂😂
Enough see this 2012 game, and this Criterion develop the 2022 episode. D
This opinion may be unpopular, but it's true. MW2012 is a gem, at least from gameplay and artistic perspective.
No the handling was awful, and the cops were half baked. Also the crash cams were annoying too.
@@idkneededtomakenewacc2575 stop Dream these stupid NFS underground games, this Is the best new era NFS games, is a fact
I'm nostalgic about it because I had it on the PS Vita. It was a really fun handheld game.
This is just Theo crashing for 15 minutes straight
Attention to Detail of this Game Was Excellent
I think their main purpose in this game was this:
Drive fast through a world of long arcing roads, escaping cops, running roadblocks, listening to a jamming soundtrack, jumping from car to car picking what’ll be best for a situation, and never needing to stop for any reason.
Most wanted is just nostalgic. Even the SOUNDS are nostalgic
Ironically this game has the best multiplayer NFS ever had.
