apart from the King's Singers version (sorry, I'm biased when it comes to them), this is one of the best versions there are of this madrigal here in TH-cam . Congratulations!
Well, this is one of our regular encores and we therefore prefer the entire group to be represented including both sopranos, and as this is how we usually perform this piece we chose to record it that way. The reason we aren't looking up too much is that this is a recording session with no audience other than the sound technician. The video was sort of a by-product to the recording. Thank you for your comment :)
Nice job, good tempo, great blend of clear clean voices. You could take your performance up several notches by getting your heads out of the books and looking at each other. Five people singing together don't really need a conductor,
For me the vowels were too spread. If you don't speak french it's fine but it sounds empty of the energy the language possesses. As well as they made no eye contact. And why are there two sopranos...? The alto got drowned out. I love the satb voice spread better than when the king singers do it, but they're way more engaged with the audience. But it's really good
Il y a 50 ans j'écoutais déjà ce chef d'oeuvre.... Merci a TH-cam de permettre a des artistes talentueux comme vous de se faire entendre.
I love this song, and I heard many versions. This is the best one;) Greetings from Poland:)
c maginfique!!!!!! merci de nous le faire partager

I played a brass band arrangement of this a week or two ago, and it was fun to play.

Is it one or two tones higher? why?

Three semitones higher. Because it suited us better.
