This is exciting! I can't wait to drive one! If I was younger I would love to work at Canoo.
I really like this truck, and there's a lot of innovation here. My concern is the robustness of some of the features like the fold-out tables, side-step and its respective compartments. Hopefully they're solid steel with super hinges. I can see someone slamming a 40lb toolbox on this all day long and it starting to sag. I'd say give these to a few construction workers for six months and see what starts breaking. Also this truck is pretty small, I didn't realize until seeing inside the cabin. The lack of a true center console is a tough loss. I also don't see a monitor for infotainment or backup camera (other than the narrow band at front). Was also wondering about A/C, environmental controls, and respective vents (especially for defrost/defog on that windshield). I'm also curious about the windshield (which is so cool) and the blind spots the metal frames present. How comfortable is the steering wheel (never driven a square wheel)?

one huge draw for me is the return to do it yourself repairs with it being part of the modular design focus, we can replace our own parts!
Yeah, Jake, I get all you're points. I guess for me as a Landscape Designer its perfect for me. No employees to break s*it. I use my iPhone as an interface so I don't need an info center. Sounds like the Ford Lighting might fit your needs better.

Canoo! In manufacturing, attention to sequence of assembly and that specific efficiency could determine success with competition, whereas both competitors can win market share. As we know, Tesla has hinted to be making a van quite soon. 😊 cuz we love vans!

They need to show what their infotainment system will look like. Not everyone is going to take kindly to having to use their smartphone to change radio stations or turn up the air conditioner.
Love the platform, love the concept, and love the sustainability of the vehicle so much that I put my Sep down well over a year ago… when is this coming the consumer market?
