When my father took us to see this, I was dazzled. We'd never seen anything like this. The skeletons, the terrifying Talos statue, etc, and this! I still love it!
If you've still kept your imagination from childhood, to be able to "get passed" the half-century old effects, this is just badass. Imagine being saved like that, the Gods showing their great cruelty and mercy both in equal measure.

I like that women get more equal rights now a days but I dont like that women look like men nowadays with muscles and attitude like that of a men that they lost beauty and attractivity . All the computerized special effects in the world can not save a film which has a poor story or script. This is why this film works, great story, good effects.
First seen this movie in 1964 when I was 12 years old,amazing special effects from the Emperor of sf Ray Harryhausen.
