Great video Ahmet Abi. Really helpful. I was considering the train from Makkah to Medina, but I really don't like the luggage restrictions. One medium sized suit case wont cut it for me. The private driver option is much more interesting, and gives much more flexibility. And basically not that much more expensive if I consider I have to buy 2 train ticktes and then again a taxi from the station to the hotel. Might as well get a private driver. @mebsj4438 Yes just make sure to get on the white bus that's the only one that's free it will drop you off right front of Hilton Convention Center Hotel it's like a 2 minute walk to the masjid
Brother what is second luggage specification. Is it allowed to have a carry on bag plus main luggage bag. Is there any weight limit or size of second luggage bag Please let us know. Jazakallah khair
Your videos are very much useful.❤ We are planning to do Umrah next month, 5 days in Makkah and 3 days in Medina. Both flights at Jeddah airport. But this luggage restriction can be a big problem since we have 3 big and 3 small trolley bags and couple of laptop bags because we are doing Umrah on the way to our home in India. Any options to store the luggage at Jeddah or Makka? If in Makkah then is there any problem we entering Makkah coming from Medina and leaving on the last day to collect the luggage??
Selam, inșAllah may Allah accept your Umrah and Duas. I couldn't find anything regarding storage. Only option was to ship the extra luggage from airport to hotel. How many people in total? It might be lower cost to just do taxi.
Subscribed. Jeddah to Makkah we are fine with taxi. But last 3 days just Makkah to Medina and then Medina to Jeddah airport will be too tiring. So we prefer train. But 3 large luggage (we are flying from UK to India via Saudi) will be a problem for train commute. So I am fine to store it at Mekkah or Jeddah temporary for 3 days until we are back from Medina.

Selam Brother, right now taxi is the only option. Terminals are good 20 minute drive. I highly recommend you use Uber it's fixed price you won't be scammed. If you try to get a local taxi they will charge you 3X more.

Will definitely take the train from Jeddah to Mecca in May/June in sha Allah. The fatest (and cheapest?) option.
Yes definitely cheapest, fastest and most safest option. Taxi drivers in KSA are are not very good drivers.

Second small bag like backpack no issue. No weight limit they just look for size. Has to be personal bag size.

I was told you have to do baggage and passport check like an airport when you get the train is this true?
No passport check and they only check the bag based on the quantity and size... Not weight

Do they check baggage? Especially when you are coming from jeddah to medina?
They do but I have seen plenty times they won't say anything. It happened to me today Jeddah to Makkah I had 1 extra bag zero issues.
If you have 2 carry on’s like 23kg each and 1 hand carry. I will be traveling with family so it will be 4 carry on and 2 hand carry’s
