Ramadan Mubarak.. Janus I had no idea you are Muslim and even more you are doing umrah.. wow respect .. I started watching your vids for Philippines recommendations. Amazing watching with much respect for you
The trains and train stations over there are something to aspire for. I truly appreciate all the detail work put into them. ✨️ I'm also learning more from your vids. Thank you for sharing, Sir J. 🫰🏻
There is a bus at the station, Route 7A, that takes you straight to Alharam in 10 minutes and it is a free service and very modern. Next time I recommend you try it out! When I visit, I would usually park my car at the train station and catch the bus, super convenient.
@@januslog Yup! It runs every 10 mins 24/7 and it takes about 12 mins to get to the Haram since it’s an express service. Go to the upper (street) level of the station and to the Makkah Buses stand, ask them there. They should be right by the entrance to the left of that stand. Unfortunately they’re not that easy to find.
Waalaikumsalam Janus. Hope I can revisit Saudi Arabia to make umrah and to pray labaik allahuma labaik ... During my last umrah I was in a group and bus was our transport. Amazing train - very modern like a plane of Emirates 😊 Thank you Janus for producing this GREAT video, it makes me super happy watching this during the holy month Ramadhan 🙏 Can't wait to see the next episode!
What a delight to see that you are muslim mashAllah..you did spend more time in the istanbul mosques than the other ytubers 😊..Umrah maqboula inshAllah!
It’s best to stay in Makkah for a few days if you have the time. You could either start your Umrah in Makkah and then go to Madinah or the other way around.
No, you can go to any mosque and pray or even pray at home before you start your journey. The miqat is crossed right after leaving the train station so you want to be prepared before
Wa alaikum assalam. Yes, I first went to the hotel to leave my luggage there. From your hotel, you can then go directly to the Haram mosque. No need to go to Masjid Ayesha first, assuming you have followed the directions in the video from the point of crossing the miqat.
Madinah is forbidden too. The station is outside the forbidden area, but there is a ring of arches that you are not supposed to pass. Anyway there is not enforcement of this law in Madinah, so you should be fine by crossing the first ring at least to find a restaurant. If you are not a Muslim, and you are not going to pray, I wouldn’t recommend you to spend a lot of time there. To enter Makkah you have to pass checkpoints in most of the roads. I wouldn’t try to enter because police can stop you
it looks like you're enjoying yourself!!! the smile does not leave yours face
It’s definitely a very special trip 😊

تقبل الله 🕋
Ameen 🙏
I suddenly realized you look a little different because you didn't wear hat. 🤪 The train look pretty good.
Haha, yes, hats are not worn during Umrah. It’s a great train, very modern and convenient
19:33 what are these watch tower kind of things with yellow strips ??
The mosque is under construction and these are two new minaret towers that are being built. The yellow bars are part of the scaffolding
Thx
Any time
So are you staying at the hotel or go back to Medina after Umrah ? I need umrah tips

Very nice👍☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

When going for umrah from madinah by train, are you still required to goto dhul hulaifah miqat mosque in madinah ?
No, you can go to any mosque and pray or even pray at home before you start your journey. The miqat is crossed right after leaving the train station so you want to be prepared before
Salaam, did you go to the Hotel in Madinah first to put luggage away then do Umrah? Do you have to start from Masjid Aysha again?
Wa alaikum assalam. Yes, I first went to the hotel to leave my luggage there. From your hotel, you can then go directly to the Haram mosque. No need to go to Masjid Ayesha first, assuming you have followed the directions in the video from the point of crossing the miqat.
There are free buses that take you from the train station to the haram
Thank you for this very useful info. I saw signs for busses but could not see them. So decided to go by taxi
Asa, did you have any trouble with large bags?
No, I did not travel with large bags but also saw some storage bins that fit larger suitcases on the train
May i know. The name of quran reciter a few minutes before the end of this video , thank you.
Who was the qari at the end
I will have to get back to you on his name. But he’s the qari from the Haram mosque in Makkah
Is the bullet train safe for women travelling alone?
Yes, it is very safe
@@januslog alhamdu lillaah. Good to know. Jazakumullahu khayran.
Yes
How many luggages are allowed per passenger?
I’m not sure. My luggage was not checked last time I took the train
Can you take a cabin luggage as well as a luggage?
Yes, there are overhead bins
❤😢

Visiting Medina and Makkah is prohibited for non-muslims, isn't it?
Non Muslims cannot enter Mecca but Medina is possible
