I had two leather jackets in my closet that I had bought in August. I bought them both the same day for the same price. I listed them on Posh the same day. Last week I got offers for $45 separately for them. The offers came in on the same day an hour apart from each other, from different people in different states. It was wild.
No snow in Bakersfield CA! One day about 25 years ago It snowed here. What a fluke! It actually closed everything down because nobody here is prepared for snow. No matter how big or small. But it was beautiful. My son, then 7, loved it!
Our weather here in SE Michigan is exactly what you described you just had. Same here, sometimes we have a white Christmas and many times we don't. Which used to stress me out when I was I kid, because I didn't know how Santa would manage his sleigh without snow...lol.
Gramma made sure y’all wore Rothschild - & several other big brand names. I think it was a southern thing. 🤷♀️ She was such a bargain hunter & garage sale queen! You must’ve gotten your gift from her. 😊❤
Congrats on your sales Jen! Amy and Dan (the hustle couple) used to talk about how when they would have similar items sell within hours or days of each other a lot of times it would be because it was trending on tic tok. I recently had a lands end denim shirt sell on ebay and then before I could delist it, it sold on posh🤦♀️my guess is that denim shirts must have been trending somewhere lol
I do not want snow for Christmas here (Iowa), but we're supposed to get hit overnight tonight with an ice storm. Fun times! I made a grocery run and hit the GW bins while I was in the city today. I think I'm set for a couple days of staying home and busting out some listings.
Ebay has a really bad habit of relisting items. It happens to me quite a lot. It happens to my Dad ALL THE TIME! In order to get around the seller defect, I usually email the customer and tell them about the glitch of ebay relisting items, and give them the opportunity to "choose something else in my store for the same price, or I will cancel and refund them". They always choose cancel/refund. Then you can say in all honesty to ebay that the BUYER asked to cancel the order. That way you don't get a knock on your account.
After you mentioned Kohl's, a Kohls ad came up on your video 😆. December has been slow, but I haven't listed consistently. I have a 30% off sale running and some really old (by really old, I mean from 2019-2020) have been selling for lower prices. We may be going through a move next year so I am glad to get rid of them and make some money back (I probably would have cleaned them out of my inventory anyway so I wouldn't have to move them). I am also finding a bunch of things to list around the house, some of it being my stuff and some of it being things that I purchased or was given, but never listed. Miss thrifting, but feels good to have the discipline to clean out the clutter. I am close to Washington DC right now and it is unlikely we will get a white Christmas.
I’ve had that happen before where I had a two of the same listings on eBay, I think it happened after delisting and relisting with vendoo, I haven’t used that feature again in fear it would happen again.
I am finally seeing sales coming in, but have had a rash of buyers trying to HAGGLE my prices down, when I explain clearly the 50% of my sales prices are going to a horse rescue... and they still wanna haggle a Greg Norman Golf Performance top from $25 to $15. I'm like "Sure, haggle down the amount of $$ we can send to help restore these horses". Then I got get another cup of coffee and just "LET IT GO" LOL I was laughing about your shirts selling within hours AND being Haggled AFTER a discount! Dang!
Happy Friday! Do you ever end listings and sell similar? I did it today and it really made a huge difference! 🎉 We live in South Carolina and never have had a white Christmas. We did have snow a few years back on December 26th. Everyone thought it was coming on Christmas Day. With that said we did have a good snow on November 1st one year…maybe 5 years ago. No one was expecting it at all! 😅 It’s unheard of around here.
I live in the Boston area and if you live in New England you know the weather changes as much as we change underwear. So the answer to your question is 🤷♀️lol one day it’s 19 degrees and snowing and 5he next it’s 50 and sunny 🤦♀️
I'm in Illinois and we had flurries a few days ago but none of them stuck. I'm hoping we don't get much until January common which has been the case the past few years
My weird this week is I SWEAR I ACCEPTED an offer for a VS bra. But it never showed up on awaiting payment and is still listed as available. AND the offer keeps popping up and taunting me and when I click on it it says no offer exists. UGH.... And I don't k kw how to reach out to that person to tell them to re-send an offer as I ACCEPTED and it POOF disappeared.... 🥵

I’m in Florida around the panhandle of the forgotten coast. No snow here! Just sand and lots of wind. But we do love it! Meerry Christmas!🎄🙏🏻
Hopefully lots of sunshine too!

Definite maybe😊 it is snowing right now! ❄️🎄
❄️❄️❄️
Earlier this week I sold 2 pairs of clip on earrings to 2 different people the same day. That was weird.
No white Christmas for me. I’m in Florida, so no snow, but the temperature is nice to have a break from the heat and humidity. ☀️
Yes for snow here.
❄️❄️❄️
In Buffalo, got over a foot last night! Hoping some melts over the weekend!
Buffalo gets crazy snow! Also GO Bills! (My husband grew up there)
We had snow, but a rain storm took it all away. Our river’s aren’t even frozen over yet.

We had snow a couple of weeks ago but looks like we won’t have a white Christmas here in Missouri.

I live in Florida so definitely no white Christmas. But that is fine with me. In the low 70s now.
Farmers Almanac says no snow for Christmas here, possibly on the 28th❄️❄️

I’m in Iowa too! What part? I saw that ice storm in the forecast. Not looking forward to it.
Enjoy your snow day!

The forecast has us at 42 for Christmas Day. 🎉

That’s what i’m afraid of.

NFR fashion videos are all over the place right now so western wear is selling!
