Probably a good thing-- I wouldn't trust "a series of steel pins" to keep that house from falling into the rocks below. Not on that flaky sandcastle of a cliff.

At once, I hired an advisor to help stay afloat, and as of today, I'm only 25% short of achieving my 7-figure ballpark goal after subsequents investments.

The zero home is much like mine. I live on the coast in L.A. It is full solar, power wall and a converter on my Tesla. My utility bill is almost completely a water bill.
It cracks me up how people seem to forget that cliffs change shape regularly because pieces fall off, especially at the edge. Building anything at the edge of a cliff is just asking for trouble.
I don't know where you have been the last 10 years. but 2x6's have been the standard for a long time. 2X4's for interior walls.. The problem with computer research
Woods House is nice but ive always loved/been fascinated by the insides of the White House ( not what it stands for but the building itself).. Personal fav is a Hobbit home tho( Frodos immaculate home, not this 1)
The 'zero' home is not impressive at all. I have a home built in the 1980's and it's total electric--no gas, no propane, no natural gas and no solar or wind. My monthly cost in total for electric, water/sewer, trash removal, hi speed internet service, satellite TV, landline telephone come to a monthly average of $290.00. I have a security system as well included in that total monthly average. I live in a cold climate with hot, muggy summers.
