I bought 2 Jumbo, 2 Regular Hobby, & 2 Blaster Boxes. Did a team break pre-sale box break. Still have 17 teams unsold. My 6 box break is broke up into 12 videos all posted on my TH-cam, IG, & FB!
Thanks for the shout out...working on this after I release the Five Star info. Increases year to year is the expectation now with flagship stuff. Great work as always.
Is there a release date yet for retail and when it will be in stores. Also are they making fanatics boxes as that was the way to go for retail imo unless you bought mega which are a bit pricey nowadays
Are you going to get some logofractor? I did buy a pre-order for update assuming that Skenes would be on the checklist. I got the bundle where it came with a hobby and a blaster box.
I don't know how hard I'll go on paper/hangers but I will definitely try hard for Update Sapphire since all the good rookies are in update. Topps has been pulling some shadiness this week. They changed Sapphire Basketball Box from 2 autos to only 1 the day of release. Then for Cosmic baseball they are only guaranteeing one general parallel and no color per box. And they've been releasing too much in general this month. But I'm excited for regular Sapphire baseball and getting a few logofractor boxes... But this might be my last year of logo. They keep bumping up set count and price... If only it was close to what it was when you discovered it for all of us in 2022.
Product like Update is really good to go heavy on release. Box quality is much better on the first wave. Complete sets will sell higher. Singles will sell higher. Also box prices will be cheapest. Not easy to do but it’s prob best to stretch it as much as possible upfront. Make sells and recoup and possibly make $$ on it. 1200-1500 budget is great number to work with. I can give you a quick run down on how I’d break it down if you’d like. I rip tons of wax and always willing to help or pass along advice. Peds will tell you the amounts lol
Yellow crackle to 50 for series 1 was 1/43, series 2 was 1/27 I believe. Update says 1/37. So on the surface it seems more printed than series 2, and nearly at series 1 levels. But if you look at the hanger pack odds, I believe they are slightly better than series 2. Only thing that would cause these 2 things would be if they had a 300 card checklist and not 350...
Hmm, interesting. For hangers...Series 1 was 1/9 for a gold, series 2 was 1/6...and update is showing 1/5...but the yellow crackle got significantly harder to pull in update compared to series 2...I wonder if another format got worse on the numbered hit odds...or are their odds sheets wrong
I don’t know your budget but My advice would be to spread the money around on different formats. It helps get a feel of the release. Which configurations are best etc. it’s also a big help with making sets. Collations have been really rough this past year across flagship/heritage type sets. Opening different configurations helps putting these sets together. I’d do 25ish hangers. 15-20 blasters, few hobbies and a jumbo.
@@chrisc4264 but they mass produced packs. Yes it was affordable, but very few cards were worth more than $10. It stopped being fun for kids in about 1985, that's when adults figured out they could make money.

I skipped Logofractor. Nice buy!!
I bought 2 hobby boxes for preorder and I am gonna buy another 1 and a value box I’m surprised they aren’t sold out yet
Skenes is in the set. All systems go.

If this was only a 40 dollar hobby box I buy.
I usually buy retail just for fun. I wanted a hobby of update. The more videos I watch the less likely i will go hobby lol

@@prdevildog nice!!!
Have not seen any 2024 hangers in couple months at my Targets and Walmarts. And no restocks in couple months
@@kenwest922 I would expect to see them in a few weeks
Checklist is out and Skenes is definitely in it... US100
Excellent!!
Skenes is in. I bought a case of Jumbo. Fingers crossed.
Heck yeah!! Good luck!!
Nice! I did as as well. Can’t wait!
Me too. I bought a case of jumbo. Was gonna bust but may hold also. Only gonna get 6 autos out of that case and that check list is huge!
it sucks for collectors and great for flippers probably

Putting print runs/box counts etc on screen when your talking would make a big difference with videos like this.
