What they’re trying to say about the tribal mark is…it’s majorly a form of tribal identification but also it can be given when a woman who has lost her babies continuously, once she gives birth there is a tradition where they take the new born n place him/her on either the road side or just by the house and the first person who passes by can place money (even just a coin) as a symbol of buying the child, then that person can name the child depending on the tribe of that person (eg. If a Asante man passes by first n”buys” the child he can give him an Ashanti name)and also give the baby a tribal mark if they want to.after the child is taken back inside this usually doesn’t take up to 10mins…it’s a superstition that it will make the child stay(be alive) and not go back (die),also when a child falls Ill 🤒 a lot they can be given a mark, also when a child/person is believed to take after a relative(reincarnation) they can be given a tribal mark similar to the person they take after, they’re a lot of reasons we give tribal marks…we northerns have similar dialects so a person from upper east, and upper west may understand/ get some few things when a dagbana speaks

Good job, spreading knowledge. It's funny though, we may not like what we are not used to. As you rightly mentioned some may not like dawada because of the smell. These may be very happy to consume koobi, momoni or totobi with relish! Interesting world. Thanks for your good work. I envy you though, you get the chance to meet nice people and eat good food. May God continue to bless you

@@robtechhelp4323 I think you are confusing Nankani with Kassem. Nankani is common to both grunie and Kassem but Kassem and Grunie are totally different. I speak Buli, Kassem, Talen, Nankani, Kusaal, grunie and mampruli so I know what I am talking about.
