OK here's a head scratcher. For arguments sake lets just say everything adds/subtracts/whatever perfectly. I add 20mm longer forks. I'm now slacked out. BB higher etc. What's going to happen if I a) steepen my head angle by 2deg? Steering angle approaching stock, but the rest of the frame is now extra high and back? b) slacken head 2deg? Frame angles/height now back to stock, but steering is basically a long-travel castor wheel and my bike looks like something out of Sons of Anarchy and won't go around a corner? Hold on to your hats... c) what happens if I thrown a larger or smaller dia wheel in with A or B? I kind of want to try this out... conveniently I have a set of Boxxer U-turns that might just fit the bike I want to tinker with, hopefully they'll take a 27.5. Maybe I'll soon be riding a jacked up, slacked out reverse-mullet 27.5/26" Frankenbike.
Hey, try out this calculator. www.bike-stats.de/en/geometrie_rechner I've used it and it's great, and also it adds a schematic, how the change looks like. My goal was to get a more stable bike, better for downhills, however, don't "ruin" it's basic geo to much. Luckily, in my case, it worked out perfectly. I absolutely love how the bike behaves, and since publishing the video, I'm using position 4 of Ride-9. It's kinda middle of slack-steep, and progressive shock leverage ratio. Great for jumping and having fun!

Despite my somewhat tongue-in-cheek comment earlier, the only significant difference would be 10mm longer wheelbase and 8mm shorter reach. Looks like I've got a new weekend project 👍 (Siskiu T8, info was already in their database. Too easy!)
@@goingdowncountry Just went to start my little project as not having the -2deg made little change with the 26" wheel. Discovered a crack in the rim and the steerer tube is miles too short, so will have to start with some new parts. Might as well have it rebuilt while I'm at it. Will see if a vid is worth it in a few weeks when I'm done - at the wrong end of a couple of months unpaid leave right now.
@@superyamagucci Ohh I'm sorry for the damaged parts you found. Hope you can fix/reapir them, and that your bike will be even better. I plan to do a 1 year with Angleset: was it worth it? video for sure in August. 😄

Isto tako, ovisi da li je tappered ili ravan sterrer tube na bajku, prema tome se bira. A i kakvi su prihvati na rami za ležajeve (external cup ili zero stack). Možda najbolje njihovom supportu poslati mail s modelom bajka, pa da oni kažu jel ide ili nejde. Po nekoj logici bi moralo, osim ako je neki baš jako neuobičajen bajk.
12.08. smo ugradili, tako da su recimo snimke rađene kroz nekih mjesec dana, ali nikako da složim video zbog obaveza i putovanja. Zadnje dvije utrke što sam objavio sam vozio s time. 😄 Mislim da ću kroz nekih pola godine napraviti kao "Long-term Review". 🙂

According to bike-stat.de Geometry calculator, the BB is 3 mm lower, while the stack is 5 mm lower. Hope this helps :)
