I know it's a 3 year old comment but you think she would know that type of meassuring tape bends you want a Accurate fit when it bends you not getting a accurate measurement
Very confusing on the chest part. She says get the biggest part of the chest and yet she's measuring the deepest part of the chest behind the front legs. Each of those two measures differently! So which is correct?
My dog's 38 cm in the neck and 57 cm in the chest, weighing 11 kg. I'm confused as to why most harnesses fitting these measurements are for dogs half the weight of her or the charts show that her neck is too narrow compared to her chest. It might be because she looks like a short pointer...
Nice video but not helpful to me. As I have a Mini Dachshund, I was expecting to see exactly how to measure a Dachshund for a harness as their chests are entirely different from other dogs.
That tape measure is for building you should use a dress makers tape measure.

Who on earth would use a builder's tape when measuring a dog. Only EHow, of course!

The sizing charts I see for harnesses call that the girth measurement where you are calling it the chest.

that's not measuring the chest, that was measuring the girth size....
