I love working with book pages as well and have made roses out of them but I had never thought of making a birdhouse out of a book so I am definitely going to use this technique in one of my projects. I really love these projects with book pages. I have a very old book, Johnny Trumann and I know it won't work as the pages are too fragile but saving it for another project. So I can go to my senior center and get lots of books for the sunflower flowers. I think they look great in the can. The birdhouse is another one I'd love to do. Thank you for sharing your beautiful DIY'S
I love all of these pieces but the flowers are my favorite. I made a wreath using a Bach music booklet o found at a thrift store. I did cones with a fancy dark red centerpiece for Christmas.

I just use left over coffee, even if it gets cold. But instant coffee also works great
