  • REMOVE THE BAR ABOVE THE RADIATOR THAT THE RADIATOR SUPPORT BRACKETS BOLT INTO BY REMOVING THE FOUR BOLTS. THIS WILL MAKE THE JOB MUCH EASIER.
    This fan was vibrating like crazy one day while running the a/c. I ordered a new one from an eBay and it showed up in just a few days. Let's see how to get the old one out and the new one back in.

    As some have mentioned, the top cross brace was supposed come off with latch/cable attached, and just put to the side. Then right side hose needs disconnecting and then fan assembly can be pulled up and out. Was painful watching this video..lol. But at least you got it done. I hope, that if You Ever decide to do the rear sparkplug, you remove that wiper motor assembly first. That will give you great and proper access to anything back there.

      J P you are correct. I should have removed the cross brace... Lessons learned. Thanks for the tip on the wiper motor, will do. ~Mr. C.

      Right side hose does not need to be removed. It would appear it does however, if tilted and angled just right it will come right out without damaging anything in the process. 2006 town and country 3.3.

      I'm currently replacing the fan assembly in my 2007 Dodge Grand caravan. And yes, I can confirm it is way easier than it would have been had I not removed that big metal crossbar!
      This video was still very valuable to me though because I was having a really hard time figuring out how to unplug those electrical plugs. Thanks for the footage and the explanation!

    It's a thumbs down but I didn't click it. That cross member comes off so easy. I can appreciate not having to take too many things apart but unfortunately it's the proper and actually faster way to do it.

    How do you get the latch out of the way?

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm
      @NaturesCadenceFarm  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mr. Ray I believe you are referring to the hood latch assembly. I removed the two 10mm head bolts that attach it to the cross member. If you watch the video around 8:05 I reinstall it but that will give you an idea of how it should come off. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching and asking. ~Mr. C.

    • @RandomThoughts65
      @RandomThoughts65 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Take the cross member off, you can leave the latch attached and just move the whole thing aside.
