    Hi Great work! How do you not have any yarn strings hanging on the back? I've see a lot of videos of rug tufting and yours is the only that don't end up with a lot of yarn ends hanging. Thank you!

    Thank you for sharing! I am just learning and self teaching myself and found your videos. Do you trim your rugs between each color while it is on the frame? I tried trimming around a pupil and cut my canvas. 😢 It also takes so much time to trim between each color. I would love to see how you blend colors. I want to use a photo of my pet and make a rug. Thanks again! You inspire me & excellent video.

    • @iamthealphabet
      @iamthealphabet  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thats so awesome! Glad to hear youre a fellow tufting artist!! Sometimes I trim / carve my work but majority of my pieces are hyperdetailed and it's much too challenging to carve so I use my carpet planer for one uniform level & then hand trim the edges of my rugs !

    Amazing work! I have 2 questions, what are the dimensions of your frame?
    For the outline on the Looney Toons rug, did you use single feed on the yarn? Or 2 string feed? The outline looks fantastic and very skinny, it looks almost like single string.
    Any info is greatly appreciated.

    • @iamthealphabet
      @iamthealphabet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Thank you for the support. This frame is 9ft tall with 7 ft x 5ft usable space . I ALWAYS use 2 stands, never single !

    How long did it take you to get this good at tufting? Im about 10 small rugs in and I find that I have colors intertwining everywhere. Is there any tips on how to create more detail without intertwining the colors ?
