I'm not sure a fast pace game is a good option against the Warriors. Historically speaking the Warriors struggles more when the game is slowed down. You can't try to out shoot them. Plus the Blazers had over 20 turnovers in that first game so they really wanted to take care of the ball.

Portland played their best basketball honestly, it's uncommon to shoot 18/39 from 3. Most other teams will get blown out when you shoot so well from beyond the arc.
Blazers can be proud of the defensive effort and adjustment compared to game 1. Tough loss for them, but they got to move on. Warriors are the champs for this very reason, they are clutch.
