I worked at Minnesota Rubber for 30 yrs and this molding is very primitive. . We at Minnesota Rubber were way way ahead of Rubber molding. Our RD was doing a very good job. .. Good luck to you guys. .

I am seeing mainly 2 problems in this Molding.
1) Lots of manual Mold plates opening. Should have done by side brackets, ejectors, etc.
2) Too much of RUBBER is leaking out of the Pot during Compression.

Hello, thank you for uploading the video. Is the rubber first heated to be malleable and then pressed against the mold to do those types of helixes?

Hi Ghandi, No,the rubber is loaded into the "pot" above the cavities cold. The mold is heated. When the press is closed it pushes the rubber from the pot into the cavities below through small holes. The machined cavity is what creates the shape.
