How can I start a club that has never been offered before? How were you able to get the money needed to start the club? Was it a lot? Is this club still active now or did it stop once you left? Are you able to create clubs that you can still continue and be active in once you graduate? Or does it have to be something that benefits the college only?
Hello! I just wanted to ask you a question. I was wondering if you thought my idea for a club would be valid and accepted? I have been thinking about starting my own organization dedicated to helping people. I would fundraise money and donate the money to either a charity or to those in need. The club would also focus on mental health and well being for college students. And even offer community service opportunities. I feel like this is very broad since I don't want to only focus on one certain group of people to help. I just want to try to help everyone in the sense of companionship, community service, or money. How does this sound?
Hello there. 👋 I am currently a freshman in an Australian university and I really want o start a pre-law club in my uni. They do have a prominent club at school that does offer some pre-law curriculums however they do not offer detailed information on lsat or other curriculums that are integral for many law students. Most of their club activities thats aim towards pre-law students are moot court based, so other than debating competitions there aren’t many other areas of studies being offered. Also the club is mostly catered towards students who are either majoring in business law, law and society or criminology which is quite restrictive towards many other potential law students. I wanted some advice on whether it is a good idea for me to start a pre-law club or not. And if so would I have to get sponsors?
Hello, I’m not sure if you’ll answer, but I have a question. So my school does not have Tennis as a sport on campus. They were planning on building a campus tennis court and even had a grand opening, but never went through with it. However, long ago (maybe 7 years ago) they had a tennis club. That club is now inactive. Because it didn’t last long, that club’s old forum is horrible and outdated and I was thinking of attempting to start just starting a completely new tennis club rather than renewing the old one. Do you think this would be a good idea? Ive been contemplating it for a while whether or not I should try to go through with it. I found the contact information to the past advisor for the club, and I was thinking maybe he could at least give some tips on how he ran it and who can be an advisor if he cant help. As for getting people, I’m completely lost how I would spread the word about it.
Thank you for this amazing video! You brought up quite a few things that are worth thinking over as I am also planning to start a pre-health related society at my uni. I do wonder how you planned all the activities throughout the semester (like networking, Q&A sessions, guest speakers, etc.): Were there any orgs or offices that you turned for guidance?
Thank you so much for making this video! It definitely isn't easy. What social media would you recommend for the best marketing? Along with which platform is great for group chats?
I was thinking about starting a gymnastic club where we could perform in pep rally’s and stuff like that. My for reason for this is most people don’t want to try out for the cheer team because they know they cheerleaders would just pick the same people over and over. Another reason why I wanted to start this club is because people at my school show spirit but not as much due to the fact they know the cheerleaders are gonna perform the same routine that they always do. I feel like this club could be successful because theirs a lot of talented gymnast and incoming freshmen that has potential. My school just needs something new to give it the extra spirit. What do you think about this?
Great video! Just got approved as a club and struggling to organize and accomplish tasks such as designing and printing posters. What should I do if I'm not a good artist lol?
Reach out to local artists! Make flyers(to the best of your ability) looking for artists interesting in helping you out with posters for your club! Social media could work wonders for you as well if you post in local community groups.
Hi, I want to start my own Philosophy & Psychology club. The problem is the students in my college is business oriented. Do you have any idea to attract them? How do I differentiate the club with the already existing debate club? Thank you :D
Hey 😊I think that a debate club and a philosophy/psychology are really different, I dont think you would have to do too much to differentiate. The first thing you should do is find approximately 20 people or friends that you know who would be interested. Also talk to your psychology/philosophy professors to see what activities you could do when you start the club 😊

How did you find sponsors
I want to start a finance club in my college, somebody please give me suggestions.
Great video! If I start my own club, can I automatically be the president since I founded the club or does it have to be voted on?
Thanks for watching! From what I have seen the person that starts the club is usually automatically the president
