Rewind back to 1995 in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, a brand-new narrative adventure from the creative minds behind the critically acclaimed series, Life is Strange.
Film your last summer in Velvet Cove playing as Swann, a quirky introvert who loves capturing reality through the lens of her trusty camcorder. Get to know Nora, the rebellious firecracker; Autumn, the thoughtful leader; and Kat, enigmatic and strong-willed.
From making music videos in Nora's garage to sharing secrets under the stars... to discovering dark places shrouded in mystery - it’s gonna be a summer packed with unforgettable moments for this newfound sisterhood.
As summer comes to an end, so does their friendship. A downward spiral culminates in an unexplained event that makes them promise to never see each other again. Now, twenty-seven years later, fate reunites them to confront the long-buried secret that they left behind in 1995.
The girls’ promise, made all those years ago, forever altered the course of their lives. The reason behind this promise is in your hands as you make choices both in the past and the present. Shape the narrative of both timelines, in 1995 and in 2022.

oh my god this game looks amazing and i’m so excited for it. i wish i didn’t feel off about the voice acting tho 😅
Think the main issue is their voices are so expressive. but then there's hardly any facial animation in their expression, or mouth movements.. its just small little mouth movements.. even though the character is shouting or speaking in an exaggerated way. The voices do sound good though.

Looking fun!
Only issue I see is gameplay may make things feel a bit hectic and I'll feel rushed when I'm trying to do other things. Cause of all the talking both by the girls in the past and the women in the present.

Don't Nod has confirmed that facial animations and other mouvements are still work in progress.
It says Alpha footage on the bottom left so it's not the finished product

Why all the french studios suck at face animation?
Shouldn't have shown this Alpha Version. Looks terrible and cringe at time with the animation and facial animation. Voice acting doesn't really fit most of the characters also. Why does Nora voice sound so annoying?

@@firephoenix3711 I know the struggle, being from a 3rd world country myself. Also, story and cinematic experience are the strongest assets of these type of game. Gameplay is usually pretty basic, so the difference between watching and actually playing a game like this is minimal.
