Absolutely fantastic video! Great work to Andrew and the team 👏 I had to watch the soldering twice... So skilled and satisfying to watch 😊

Thanks Barry. Lucy is definitely amazing with that soldering iron eh?! She makes it look so easy when you can barely even see the capacitor being soldered!

What a fascinating video! Up Spin and Down Spin describes my brain perfectly after watching this. Lucy's soldering skills are really incredible! So much dedication and determination - what a great team and what lovely people. The Auto-desk facility must be an incredible advantage to have. What would we have seen from Leonardo Da Vinci if he had access to this? Also the work on the lathe to zero tolerance for ultimate precision - micrometer perfect.
Over half a century ago I dated a young lady who worked in the physics department at London University as a spectrologist on exchange - she spoke little English and I spoke no Italian ... I learned little from her! However, I wish she could have seen this video in the early 1970's!
This has been a wonderful collaboration and the work and striving goes on, success to you all!

Thanks Eryk. Yes indeed, both Lucy and the CAD software are incredibly advantageous to have!

Considering that EPR is rather complex, to say the least... and that I've only got a VERY basic grasp of the physics involved ... I think you did a damn-fine job of explaining that!
I thought it was quite funny the LuCy showed us soldering up an LC circuit. And hand-soldering SMT components is always a treat to watch... especially when you haven't got my old-man's-shakey-hands :)

Thank you, glad you enjoyed. Yes, we certainly appreciate Lucy's steady hands. When she's not around and we have to solder our own in the lab, they don't look that nice or last as long!
We'll be releasing another video soon about those resonators specifically which shows how we changed the design to get a big improvement in quality factor.

Am I watching Tomorrow’s World? This is great. x

Tomorrow's World! What a great programme. That's a lovely comparison, thank you 😊.
