Just found this video today… A great podcast… I met Ram Das about 30 years ago at the llama foundation in New Mexico in Taos…Actually we were in town For the day at Haunaman's Temple And they were having a big week long feast I don't remember why exactly and Ram Das came over to our table and ask if he could sit there with us and my four-year-old son told him no ....I was mortified…LOL and that's my Ram Das story
Baba Ram Dass changed my life. How ive wished to have met him in person. The closest ive felt his presence is a month ago while i was meditating on a subway train in nyc. I love you baba ram dass
Ya, I'm in the same situation that I came to know of Ram dass the day he left this place...every now and then I wish I had met him, but since the time of knowing him, he has profoundly touched me and helping me transform everyday...
I was very moved by your fortune of knowing a mothers unconditional love. I've never felt that b/c my mom died when I was a child. I accept it and believe i've done the best I can to overcome that loss. Thank you Aubrey for this video.
Thanks Aubrey for letting us all take part in your journey. I love your podcasts and I have learned so much from you already. My life has changed significantly over the last year. Listening to your stories certainly played an important part.
The Buddha you met is you and the you that makes it someone else is the imagined one. Aubrey is speaking from his heart and knows he is love. Very happy to have watched your video! "The I in I is the I in you, and that I - is love"
Such grace. So much love. God Guru & Self are the same. Thank you infinitely for having Raghu on - he is a true gem and so many have seen their spiritual path deepen thanks to his work at LSR. 💓💗
"Kanchan [gold] , ” Maharajji would say and shake his finger. That and sexual desire were the two main obstacles to realizing God. Again and again Maharajji warned about these fatal attractions, these clingings; but how few of us could hear him. He referred to the Western devotees as kings. Most of us had come from comfortable economic backgrounds and so we knew that financial security would not in itself bring liberation from suffering. To know such a thing was a great step forward on the path... Most frequently, Maharajji seemed to be suggesting that people keep as much as they needed to maintain their responsibilities to body, to family, and to community, and distribute the rest to the poor. He kept reminding us that if we did that and trusted in God, all would be taken care of."
Aubrey you make it sound as if living in a monastery is so easy. “Buddha living behind his castle walls”… Try renouncing the world and see how long you last.
Aubrey’s logo watermark on this video is as big as his head. (Perhaps it could be reduced and/or made transparent so as to not detract from the people speaking.) Looking forward to the next 80 minutes of this conversation. ☺️

After 2 x 500 mg of Czechslovakian acid I'm surprised Raghu didn't transform into Ram Dass himself
